Imagine King, Walter and Luko. Could be dynamite.Agree, but he's probably got an eye out for how the forward line would be structured when we add Walter and Read.

King may end up with the second defender a lot.
That's Dimma's problem, not mine! That's great, but who gives Witts a chop out in the ruck?
Where does Read slot in? (that one might be a couple of years away, but still a relevant question)

Are you suggesting he'll leave if he has to ruck?Agreed, and it's a good problem to have, but my point is that it's something King might have in the back of his mind when considering his future.

I doubt playing in a team full of guns will bother him.
Don't forget Moyle - if he doesn't get a decent go in 2024, he'll be looking elsewhere AND we need a successor to Witts at the very least. Read can possibly fill a number of roles in the future - ruck, KPD or KPF - nice problem to have. That's great, but who gives Witts a chop out in the ruck?

Plenty of Ambassadorial money to go aroundGiven his knees, maybe.
But I was thinking more of the structural issues of having (effectively) 4 tall forwards.
There is also a limit to how much of our salary cap we'd want to devote to that section of the ground.
Witts, Moyle, Read, Casboult, Andrew, King, Walter. They can all have a go!Surely Mac helps out in the ruck

Dimma has walked into an absolute gold mine
We put Hugh Greenwood in the ruck, let's chuck Alex Davies in there too.Ace can ruck too

Elijah is not rushing out the door so unless it's a huge win for all sides...he very well might stay which I'd prefer. Suns have rejected the Hawks offer on Chol so that's interesting. Sharp no certainty to leave. If we are safe on points for Academy kids, I'd prefer them all to stay - especially Hollands and Sharp.“ a reasonable chance” means gonski
To me that’s code for the Suns to take unders or he may stay, hopefully Cameron gives them the finger after the Jack Martin * over
Not just academy but also Father/Son as well.Academy points changing next year
Here we go. Another knee jerk reaction from the AFL because of the whinging of those poor Melbourne clubs who finally weren’t getting something their way. If they bring back top 40 NGAs and make the draft even more compromised, then the days of having a draft at all are numbered.Academy points changing next year
I think we'd be happy to bring him back next year if Hawthorn want to play hard ball.
