Brodie would likely have some suitors if he offered to play on a reduced contract. It would show his commitment & desire to be the best footballer he could be & that he’s not just in it for the money. If he can establish a position as a senior player, the money could follow in his next contract

Brodie played like that all year in the 2’s. I wish he could play in multiple positions, but I’ve seen blokes like him win multiple Brownlow Medals

If a 28 year old Lachie Neale coming off a pretty average season (by his standards) is worth two first round picks then a 28 year old Luke Parker who just claimed his third club B&F wouldn't be far behind him. FFS just bite the bullet and bring in a free agent that can lead our young team to the finals. As you said, Luke Parker is exactly what we need to take the next step. We'll figure out our positional needs through the draft/other trades anyway.
