Been over the why the ball hitting a post needs to be a score and it's one opinion I will not waver on or entertain other opinions for.

Great point. Can you imagine the shite that he would have received from some players and the spectators. Plus he was a great umpire.Good to see Glen James do the umpire thing. He's a guy I thought would be getting more recognition by the league for his accomplishments these days.

GWSThere’s a non-Victorian premier every six years:
2006: West Coast
2007-11: All Vic
2012: Sydney
2013-17: All Vic
2018: West Coast
2019-2023: All Vic
2024?
No current season stats available
Yep, definitely. Humble too.Great point. Can you imagine the shite that he would have received from some players and the spectators. Plus he was a great umpire.
There’s bending your knees and dropping your shoulder to make a tackle slip high, Selwood was the master at it. No danger of serious injury in it.The only part of the umpiring yesterday that really annoyed me was the head high frees, especially that Mitchell one in the last quarter.
All the talk in this game over the last several years around players dropping their knees and umpires still can't recognise it happening. Biggest blight on the game.
Correct, oopsYou're thinking of Clark Keating. Aaron Keating is some no-name who snuck a flag for the Crows in one of his six career games.
Haha. Graphic.I watched granny in Bali with a couple of afl players I met in the pub and they concurred. Daicos is a protected species and a cheat and he should go up into the commentary box at half time, bend over, part his cheeks and give the commentary team a chance to properly eat his arseh*le out
Isnt it done on count back of most 3s and then 2s though?Probably need a chair to cast the deciding vote in case of a tie.

I didn't think of this at allTheoretically it could still be a tie - for instance, as unlikely as it is, each judge could opt for three completely different players and then your method no longer works.
Go watch the start of the 1982 GF and Jessie James holds up the ball, smiles and waves at the camera, then turns and bounces the ball. Legend.Good to see Glen James do the umpire thing. He's a guy I thought would be getting more recognition by the league for his accomplishments these days.
