TMac out. Houston played higher up the ground, sort of a push up defender, last week.
Burton a risk but I feel like he likes small kicks anyway, so even if he takes more today Farrell should be sitting on a back flank/pocket ready for the pass anyway.

Collingwood vs Port Adelaide
0.75u - Crisp Most Disposals (Group B ) - $5 - 365
Was a big part of the mid rotation in both pre season and round 1 but hasn't yet posted any massive numbers. Adams and J.Daicos are his main rivals in the group, Adams playing a fair bit of forward time and Daicos going coming up against a restrictive uncontested possesion side. 25 disposals should win this for Crisp.
2.5u - Nick Daicos under 27.5 disposals - $1.92 - SB
Looking at a top end line for Daicos. In his 26 game career has gone under this in 20 games. Daicos is one of, if not the most damaging players for the Pies and can accumulate with ease and collect plenty of uncontested footy. Port might not directly put a tag into him but their willingness to limit uncontested footy is not understated being the #1 most restrictive team in that department in round 1 but also 2022.
Adelaide vs Richmond
2.5u - Richmond -4.5 (Second Half) - $1.88 - Ladbrokes
Hopeful of big things for the Crows this year, their first half last week was fantastic, however their second half left plenty to be desired. The big flag from that game was the large number of players cramping up and struggling to get through the game. This puts many question marks over fitness levels coming into this one. Unfortunately for the Crows they head into this one off of a 6 day break vs a 9 day break that Richmond are getting. Richmond started off the year with a draw and prior to round 1 were many people's tip for the flag. Happy to back the side late in the game that is more likely to have energy in the tank in a favoure match up.
2u - Hopper 25+ disposals - $2.60 - SB
Was on him last week and had a fantastic role last but wasn't able to get the disposals required. Expecting to see a bit of improvement this week against a midfield that allowed big number against the Giants in round 1. Truly expectingHopper to average 25+ this year making this a juicy price.
3u - Laird 30+ disposals - $1.75 - Dabble
16/20 for Laird on this one last season. Wowza! Had a bit of work put in last week but expecting him to bounce back against a Richmond side that won't tag. Far too good of a price to ignore.
3u - Lynch 3+ goals - $2.15 - 365
1u - Lynch 4+ goals - $4.25 - 365
Crows defensive often got smashed by key forwards in 2022 which makes it surprising to see them go into this one without Butts and as a result leave them massively undersized against one of the best key forwards in the comp. Should be a high scoring match in a nice Saturday arvo in Adelaide. Big alarm bells going off for this one.
Western Bulldogs vs St Kilda
2.5u - Western Bulldogs -10.5 - $1.90 - Ladbrokes
Quite bullish on the Dogs this year. I think the additions of of Jones (big point to prove) and Bruce (essentially getting a new player after so much time away). Lobb has been underwhelming so far and although I have hopes for him, him missing this week doesn't come at much of a loss given his output thus far. Their young guns Ugle-Hagen and Darcy are both now 12 months older and all of a sudden what was once a weakness becomes a strength. The Saints on the otherhand had a dream start to round 1 pulling off what was the upset of the round which as a result has brought this line right in. The Saints are still without 10 of their best 22 which is far too many in my eyes. This is a great rebound spot for the Dogs that love to play at Marvel stadium and will be looking to put up a score to rebuild some of that confidence. It's easy to forget that in 2021 they were 1.5 quarters away from a premiership, 2022 was a down year for the dogs with some underachieving and a tough run of injuries at times. 2023 they look stronger and I believe they have what it takes to get back to their best.
