Tom larkey ?Huh?
I think total goal involvements is a better criteria and also capping it at 3 tall forwards. If we're going purely off of goals, should the first 6 players on the Coleman jujst automatically make the AA forward line?
Yes, that shows what a joke the concept is , especially when Geelong get a defender in every year because of their bruise-free possession football.Tom stewart has more AA’s than dusty now.
The objective best defender of the past half-decade is a 'budget' defender. Take the emotion out of it and realise how silly you sound because of your Geelong obsession. We're talking about a future hall of famer here, he's played just seven years and is already a premiership + 5x AA player. When it comes to the career of defenders currently in the game it's Tom Stewart then everyone else competing for second. Try not get caught up in BigFooty.com hysteria and have a little think next time. You don't have to like the player or the team but we're witnessing greatness here.Stewart hasnt deserved it 2 years in a row. Sicily should have 2 now.
Stewart has been far below Sicily both years, and far below other defenders 2 years in a row.
He is a budget defender, so its probably an appropriate title.
Rozee is just the spare mid and they always pick one. He was either going to be HF or on the bench what’s the difference? Makes more sense than Larkey on the HFF
How on earth did Rob Findlay get AA field umpire?
So he plays bruise free football and accumulates easy marks and kicks.
I can't rember him ever taking a pack mark tbh.
He doesn't deserve 5 All Australians, that is a joke.
More elite than Andrews? Come onnnnn!Stewart ranks as elite among all defenders for spoils, one on ones and contested marks.
All Australian umpires?
Is this new?
******* kidding me.
They actually had the nerve to name a goal umpire of the year? What was it based on? Amount of arc reviews?

Going from that the AA forwards were all excellent choices and Larkey worthy of his spot on the bench.

But that would be Petracca in this team specifically.
Also, personally, I don't think Rozee has had an AA year. Feel like his 2022 season was better than his 2023 season.
He rates Elite amongst general defenders not key defenders, he rates really poorly in those stats compared to the likes of Moore, Wilkie, Andrews and WeiteringStewart ranks as elite among all defenders for spoils, one on ones and contested marks.
Yeah we'll give him Sicily's spot, that'll set our feathered friends off something chronic, again.Wrong. If I take any defender in the league, it's Sam Taylor at 1... The man who should be AA.
His year was clearly better than last year. He was also top 10 coaches award. Was always making the sideBut that would be Petracca in this team specifically.

Your idea of statistics and interpreting them is quite laughable. The guy kicked 23 goals as one of richmonds main targets inside fifty. Was in and out of games. Had plenty of useless cheap stats. Hardly had an influence.Yes, that shows what a joke the concept is , especially when Geelong get a defender in every year because of their bruise-free possession football.
Meanwhile Dustin has one one the greatest statistical years for a forward and misses out.
The concept is a bit a joke now eg Enright getting 8 or whatever he got.

He didnt deserve it, and has struggled to deserve a spot most of his career. Besides the Richmond premiership seasons he has not been AA caliber his entire career

Rozee had a more complete year this year and the side was in the top 4 which helps
