In the spirit of this award, which has previously seen players who have been subbed out of the game nominated based on their performance in their time on ground, I feel compelled to nominate, despite extreme sympathy for his injury, one J. Cameron of the Geelong Cats for his exceedingly poor game on Thu night.

Although he soon became the victim of a thuggish and possibly even criminal assault from the soon-to-be-suspended ginger, Gary Rohan, in the 8 minutes of elapsed game time that Jeremy was on the field, his stats were as follows:

The -3 resulted from him giving away a free kick for a crude high hit (karma?) on Petty 60m off the ball while his team was about to launch an attack I50 from a mark. The reversal put Melbourne into attack at the other end of the ground.

I defy anyone to identify a worse performance on a pro rata basis. An unused sub would make a better contribution to their team's result. Getting dropped altogether would be less injurious (no pun intended) to the chances of a win. Some are even saying master coach Chris Scott actually gave the order for Rohan to take him out, as he was playing so badly Scott recognised there was no way they could beat Melbourne with him on the field (almost said oval, then remembered it was at KP).

To boot, he is a 224 game player and therefore a genuine contender for this 'worst 200 game player' award, unlike the majority of nominees this year

Ladies and gentlemen, for your consideration

I acknowledge that you're a D/H, this post only re-enforces my opinion

Ben King

not nominating anyone else because his performance and effort was so diabolical. His footy IQ is so poor he requires a full time carer when he plays or maybe an assistance pet.

Gary Rohan for knocking out Jeremy Cameron and missing 2 easy shots at goal.
