How’s the crowd omg just amazing ! 80k of us, the doc goal at the start was just nuts!
I looked up then and saw the sky and realised, geez, they've blown the roof off!

He was incredibly prominent early, it was like the ball was following him around. I was more impressed with him than BT was, but then, I'd like to think I'm a bit smarter than him too...
Can confirm.....

What a win that was. Some lessons learnt I'm sure but didn't cost us the win.

Cotters, Cerra, Acres, etc. all contributed. Those lesser names are capable of getting the job done even without Charlie / Cripps playing well. So good to see.

Acres in particular was brilliant. How Freo let him go I'll never know.

We only really played the type of footy needed to beat Sydney in that second quarter. Reverted to bombing from the wing in the second half which was baffling. But enough to get the job done.

Hope we get that feral intensity up for the whole game against the dees next week.

Gulden was ridiculous.

2 goals, would have been 3 if not for Acres. Not easy shots either.

Every kick was pinpoint, lace out...even when under pressure.
Settle, there was 4 times he could have kicked over our zone to a free sydney player, but on each occassion he decided to kick the ball 10 metres sideways. I also counted 5 times he stood 5 metres to the side of a sydney player who had a stop play to receive a cheap handball. So there's 9 nothing possessions I counted.

Vossy press conference. Harry subbed out with concussion and won't play next week. Vossy didn't think blacres would get up but seems to have pulled up o.k. and should be good to go next week.
What about yourself?

Weitering was awesome in 20 minutes especially. Saad was awesome all night - the rest of the defenders have had better games and less brain fades. Cottrell and Acres well done ( again). Pittonet had his best games in months and TDK was sensational in the final quarter. marchy justified his call up - Kemp wf was that moment about - but well done in many others, McGovern beaten I thought and Newman had one of his ordinary games.

Beating Sydney was always going to be tougher than many thought. A pity that Martin's attempted hit on the ball ended up being a high hit - he has been very important. Harry concussed not the best result for us- despite his massive case of the shanks' - one of the hardest things to fix in golf if you ever get them - because the difference between a shank and a great shot is nothing - literally a quarter of an inch.

The team seems to find new unexpected heroes each week great signs for us.

I really think that win will be huge for our development. I know listening to Horse that he is blaming their goal kicking but we were the ones that missed from point blank.

This was massive for the group, I just feel so happy for our loyal players like Cripps and Weitering. Listening to Weits, he is a great talker and such an important player in our team.
