****ing massive!!! Atmosphere was electric. To do that against a finals hardened team will do wonders for them. Had the best time with Sinjin Snr. Honestly we were all over them for three qtrs. The intensity has returned just some sloppy mistakes. We gifted Sydney 4 goals from brain fades.

My votes

Saad 3
Weitering 2
Martin 1

Saad just was in the right place at the right time all of the time. Weitering was a brick wall and marshalled the defence. Martin is just so strong for his size, saved the game going down back in the last 10 min. Master-stroke from Vossy.

Wouldn't have thought Harry would be singing the song if it was concussion. Reckon he was pretty happy to get subbed off...

If he misses next week, JSOS gets his deserved chance. If Martin gets rubbed out I suspect Motlop will get promoted to the starting 22 and we'll bring in another sub. Dow makes the most sense - another game like that, you'd love to be able to bring in a bloke who will hunt, win and drive the ball forward in those important stoppages.
If you look closely he actually didn't sing one word of the song in the circle. Quite concerning tbh. He as Voss later confirmed concussed and not in a good way.

I’m not sure I’d agree completely. But yes that miss was extremely deflating. The poster from 2m wasn’t any more positive either.
He’s still very important though, I think he is a big loss.
Agreed, the game actually turned when he left the field.

Curnow had to play further up the field and it became easy for Sydney to intercept mark our forward 50 entries.

It’s not all about kicking goals, he’s structurally important.

Also, people act like he’s a liability in the team… ffs before his injury he was putting in back to back BOG games, people just like to parrot bullshit.

Really happy that Marchbank more than held up well tonight. He’s an important cog in this team. You hear Weiters talk about him and you realise how highly he’s rated. He’s best 22.

Stoked at the overall grit we showed tonight. Had a few moments where if we nailed goals it probably would have ballooned out to a 10 goal win but to win the way we did was character building again for this group. Love this team.

Thank ****! We got the absolute worst team to play. They never give up and tackle like animals.
What the hell was going through Harry's mind?

I can't see where he hit his head to be honest

Just a few random thoughts.

Not enough love for big Pitto on here. Thought that we were better when he was in the ruck with his strength.

Cotters was amazing. So many wanted him chopped a few years back. I'm not sure that Cotts, Fog and Cuners will ever get their due credit but those that know know.

Blacres came up with the full house. 2 huge touches, a winning goal and a late OOF. That future 3rd is as good an investment as the future 4th we paid for Newman.

Weiters great, Kemp very good (apart from that moment) and Marchy's best game for the club.

Cerra and Walsh were very good and will be better for the run. Clubs will learn that it is a bit of a waste to waste a player of the calibre of Mills to keep Cripps quiet because we will find another way to hurt them.

Any finals win is huge. Before tonight Parker had played more finals than our entire team. Well be better for the win. Onwards and upwards.

McKay a big loss when added to Martin...Curnow will get double teamed all night vs Melbourne.

While the 2 missed goals were shocking, McKay was really good outside of those...directly set up our first 2 goals and took some useful relieving marks to help us move the ball up the field.
