All I could make out was something about Gdansk and Solidarnosk.....
I think I may have played a season or two with them at Moonee Valley šŸ˜„

So good to get a finals win under our belts, it was such a strange game and I felt we really succumbed to the occasion in the second half.

I donā€™t know how to keep defending Harry, two howlers that under 14s would kick 9 out of 10 times.

Thought Acres and Cottrell were fantastic.

I have no idea how AFL players who play every week and not just from our team, still donā€™t understand that you can rush the ball for a behind when under pressure.

I thought we really got away with one in regards to the sub, Motlop is not a large possession winner, he is very limited in which position he can play and thought he was a really bad call for sub. I thought he should have been in the team but was very surprised Dow wasnā€™t sub.

I think Dow coming on late in the game would have been valuable.

I havenā€™t watched Martins incident, but Iā€™m sure Iā€™ll be outraged after Maynard will get 1 for knocking out a player and Martin will get one for being a bit rough in a tackle.

Lost my voice at the game, a very happy and relieved supporter.

The thing with Cotts ā€¦ do the opposition show him respect
he bobs up in the right spots
Not sure anyone has the ability and the discipline to go with him. Very, very few players could have kicked that second goal of his - the gut-busting running just to get there, beautiful clean pickup when Hayward fumbled, and then the balance for a quality high snap on the non-preferred, just brilliant.

All year I've tried not to yell at the telly, but GET IN I cried as that ball floated in the air, it was too good an effort to be a point. Loved watching it arc gracefully over the goal-umpire's hat.

What I love most about him is how hard he has worked on his game, to make himself dangerous, now he knows he has the running power to break free. Against the Suns he was crucial to lifting us off the canvas when we were under the pump; tonight he was equally important in making sure our advantage around the ground was reflected on the scoreboard, especially in the first half. Go you good ginger thing!

Just home. Donā€™t know what to say except, so proud. Our club is back!!!
Sydney threw everything at us and multiple times we stood tall and counteracted.
85k Carlton fans at G, is something you just need to appreciate just once in life. So thank you.
For all that were there, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Especially signing the song in the end of the game with my son.
Bring on the Dā€™s.

McKay a big loss when added to Martin...Curnow will get double teamed all night vs Melbourne.

While the 2 missed goals were shocking, McKay was really good outside of those...directly set up our first 2 goals and took some useful relieving marks to help us move the ball up the field.

Yes but his misses and brain fades ruin momentum and start creeping in with other players. Heā€™s an enigma. Would happily trade him for Gulden.

Loves playing against swans!
The extra size has made him a bit more hulk smash in his approach but maintained his ridicules running capacity credit to thee that shall not be named.I love that he is every child hood dream barracks for Carlton picked up as a rough diamond and guts out a career. But in reality he was never the underdog just a freak athlete competitor that was a astute pick he is was always going to be AFL quality. We are lucky he didnā€™t get overlooked credit to who identified the talentšŸ‘

We won the game and live to fight another week. No need to focus on the negatives now.

He wonā€™t be playing against Melbourne so some here will have their wish. Iā€™m tipping weā€™ll be worse off. I hope not.

Gulden was ridiculous.

2 goals, would have been 3 if not for Acres. Not easy shots either.

Every kick was pinpoint, lace out...even when under pressure.

Crazy good player. Can rack up 40 in H&A games. And play tough, clean & game breaking finals games. Only a pup too.
