This really belongs in list management but it's pertinant to what's being brought up here.

At this stage I say write off Harry at our peril. What we need to do is recruit more talented tall forward options. Preferably players that can play both 'inside' and 'outside' roles. We don't really have any insurance at the moment for Harry and Charlie (I think Lemmey is a long shot, he might be better suited the backline long term) and the resilience of our 'attack' is my biggest concern going forward. Get some help first.

I like Lemmey - doing more than enough for the moment. Raw / big body. 1 - 3 years. Give him time.

I felt stupid mistakes aside we were a 6 goal better side. They should take great heart from that. I really feel the pressure is off now. They’re slight underdogs now and I think that’s great. SEN had a sports psych on this week who said “usually it’s better to be the hunter” and I think that rings true with us. The midfield was amazing.

Felt the backline showed vulnerability again. It’s too slow and they get bent out of shape on the spread very easily. Swans scored nearly 50 percent of entries which is not good.

Jack Martin will be missed. He was an absolute star.

Sensational effort to get out to a 5 goal lead early in the game. Was a big factor in the win in the end.

We’ve got a lot of players that play with high octane intensity and it’s marvelous to watch.

Everyone played their role but I do want single out tdk for wielding his body around to put extra pressure on the oppo. He’s been doing that a lot recently and it’s made a huge difference.

Just a slight couple of concerns from the game….

1) We need to work on our marking …apart from weiters Charlie and Martin (in last quarter) the oppo seem to win a lot of the pack marks…just seemed to drop in their hands even when we had plenty of talls there as well.

2) they closed the gap as the game wore on and if not for in accurate kicking they may have finished on top. Were we a little too tall? Did we need a fish or Motlop or Dow type in the game??

McKay gets those 2 misses next time. He would be more disappointed than any supporter with those misses.

He had 11 touches & had important linking marks by the time he went off.

At his worst he stops Curnow being double teamed, a key marking option down the ground, provides front and centre opportunities for own smalls & is very good at death if you want a steadying mark.

At his best he is a star.

Some on here are clueless at times. He is a massive out next week. And l hope he is feeling ok this morning

One of the all time performances in a 4th quarter you’ll ever see. From a future third rounder if you don’t mind!

I love what Harry brings to the team but his kicking is a coach/team killer. His second miss from right in front in particular galvanised the Swans and sparked their comeback.

But he didn't. The opposite happened and had a huge negative effect on the rest of the team... it completely deflated us. If you want to play hypotheticals, what if Sydney kicked straighter and won by a touch under two goals? Everyone would be looking at those misses from practically in front.

We can point to assists/involvements all we like, but in the crunch when he's got the easiest shots on goal and fluffs them, that poor kicking on goal undoes some of that. Whether we like it or not, he has to nail goals like that because we won't be as lucky against a team like Brisbane if we manage to get that far.

Happy to be proven wrong, but his confidence was shot after that point and likely would've missed more shots. It happened mid-year and it happened again in an EF. In a final you really can't afford that kind of brain-fade.
When he missed his 2nd shot they grabbed the momentum and went from -29 to - 11. (Ish) but we steadied and went track yo +28.

The real momentum change was when Harry got injured. Charlie kept taking big grabs at half forward and kicked it to ?
