3 rushed according to the stats, plus the 2 that Acres touched.
But your point stands. If they kicked straighter they probably score less.
And the last couple of minutes would be a lot more comfortable if there was an extra couple of points in the margin.
i just ran through the scores on the scoring feed on the afl website - not sure how they attribute acres' two touches....

All that cxarp from Horse about inaccurate kicking.

4 of their points were rushed (and that should have been 5 with the Kemp blunder that resulted in a goal).

How about the goals we gifted them - like 4 from kick outs.

We'll tidy that up this week.
Our nervousness was palpable, we let them back in, holding fire though!
Priceless

Just watched the replay.

They had 5 bad misses.
From those first 4 bad misses, they scored 2 goals from our kick-ins and then had the 5th bad miss, which came from another kick-in turnover and then a very soft free kick for a hold against McGovern (when much more blatant holds were not paid to Charlie, TDK or H up the other end).

From their 14 points, we rushed 3, Acres touched 2, 5 bad misses, 4 tough misses.

We missed 2 from the goal square!

Watching the game back again, I feel I was a bit too harsh on Harry. His first half was fairly decent (until he got injured) and he did take a few grabs while competing. I also don’t think some of the delivery being bombed in on top of his head helped tbh.

The misses from point blank go without saying but had a little better game than on first viewing.

I had a Facebook disagreement early last week re Fremantle's decision to trade Blake Acres.
I said the decision was madness.
Freo fans LOL'd ans said he wasn't AFL standard.
I revisted the post and posted a link of Acres' sealer.
What can I say? I'm a Virgo, I win!
Suck sh1t Freo! Hahaha

Also finally had the chance to re watch, Harry played much better than people made him out to play. But even though I had already appreciated their games, it re affirmed how good Marchbank, Cottrell, Fogarty and Hewett were on Friday. Also, I loved Saads game even more on second watch, but would love if he could not dump kick as much this Friday. Thought our organisation with defending space and zone in the first half looked great too. As good on second watch as it was on the night! 💙

Theres a lesson here.
Stop and think before posting........
I might even try that myself.....;)

Agree on Saad. Thought Cinc close checking on Heeney was important. Kemp was erratic. Newman good but slow. I love Weiters. Just didn’t like how loose he was last night is all.
He backed off their forwards on a long lead out of 50.

Rather than be out of position for the next inside 50 kick.

Pretty smart actually.

I finished watching the replay last night and one thing that stood out for me, is our recruiting department has absolutely nailed it. George, Acres, Cerra are high footy IQ, hard working footballers. Their ability to be in the right place right time and make the right decision in pressure situations was really on display.
