Magic round is miles better than this.

The only way the AFL could do it similarly would be in Melbourne, beef up Princes Park and have games across the G, Marvel and Princes.

Every other attempt is a pretty poor quality copy.

Having all the games in magic round at the one stadium is pretty good. I went to the very first one. Was in a corporate box for every game although I must admit I did miss a couple due to excessive lemonades.

I actually completely understand why the AFL wouldn’t do it in Melbourne and I agree with it. I also understand why they don’t want to have all games at one stadium but my understanding of those things doesn’t change the fact it’s just not as good a product for Gather Round

Maybe they could look at a bush round or suburban round spread around the country. Just need to tweak the draw as best they can so that there are no blockbusters and mostly crap games Eg gws/Carlton, Coll/ess.

To be fair it seems like it's about junior not dad. He actually seems like a top guy from that. Got a mid 90s ATAR and doing social work. He might not a be a chip off the old campaigner block after all.

He basically needs to be on a mismatch defender to be playing well, which happens semi-regularly with him, Daniher, Fort, McInerney. They are a team of tall gumbies.

Nice to see Daniher playing his one good game against an undersized North so he can spud it up for another month or so.

Also, lol to me was seeing that bench for the Simpkin sub. In head set, leaning in as if to listen to the convo, but obviously it's a headset meaning sound is not really escaping those ear muffs you idiot.
