Taking the easy, room-temp option as usual I see

Surprised she had the energy after I finished with her this morning tbhI’d put in some effort, but your mum tired me out.

I am naively confident about tomorrow's result, but I'll tell you something crazier than that...I’m feeling stupidly confident about tomorrow’s game.
Maybe because if we do lose it won’t be the end of the world - although, if we do, hopefully it’s close.
Although if it’s very close I’ll be more irritated, because we should have won…

I actually wouldn't mind copping a loss against a powerful opposition. Its easy to play well when you're on a roll, and in recent years we've been the fragile kings of downhill skiing but I really want to see how this team responds to a defeat, how we handle the mental aspect of failure, how our leadership stacks up, if the buy in diminishes. I want to put us in the fire.
So far we've been slapped with wet lettuce leaves and learnt little about our resilience. It doesn't have to be this match but I'm keen to see this sooner rather than later to give us time to weed out the weak links.
Fair enough. I guess I'm keen for Ross to see what they can do so he can get to work on it. Just as long as we beat Carlton, I can cop a loss or two elsewhere.Nah, we can lose v Crows as they're also in form on a tear, for Pies and Blues, stick that boot, have a twist, retract boot and ask them if they want some fibre, then kick them in the face and walk off. As in, bury them.
Bombers getting the game back on their terms and challenging us, where we had to really put the foot down and step on the gas again was not being slapped by a wet lettuce leaf.So far we've been slapped with wet lettuce leaves and learnt little about our resilience. Really don't understand how they can be allowed to throw the bloody ball all game..Amazing how the Dogs still get an armchair ride from the umpires even away from home when most other teams get screwed.

Yes and no. Having mettle tested midgame is one thing, but losing badly, facing doubts and dealing with shortfalls for a week or two is when we'll really find something out.Bombers getting the game back on their terms and challenging us, where we had to really put the foot down and step on the gas again was not being slapped by a wet lettuce leaf.
Showed plenty of resilience.
The Freo game wasn’t a gimme either.
Looks like Buckley at timesHe’s copping it left right and centre but Horne-Francis is going to be some sort of player. He’s got it all.
I believe he looks like a better skilled Dangerfield.Looks like Buckley at times
