They are sold out.

you couldn't buy a ticket to the game.
I just went online you can still buy tickets to our game

Well that's weird, it let me go to the checkout , and then it said sold out

Sold as a double header so it makes sense that some don't show up for both games or leave early etc.

Not sure what that means for our 'official' crowd or how full it will look. I suppose the emptier the stadium is now the more full it will be later?

Hats off to Ken Hinkley for sticking up for his boy, great stuff

The only supporters that should be able to give him any grief are North supporters.
This idea of booing him just for the sake of it seems to have started when Port played at the G in round 2. Which group of 'fine' supporters were responsible for that I wonder...

Welcome to Tribunal Tuesdays, where everyone needed pancakes but instead get to an office to have a cry instead.

First case: Injectors try to be stand up people and the AFL say "no u" again in so many attempts to prove their point.
Can't be too fluffy with this one, Buckets on the juror seat with 2 other plebians, so it's only 66% scuffed as Loewe is above reproach. Above. And I'll not hear any different.

Crux of arguments
AFL: Merrett pile drove him, it was all Merrett, this is bloody intentional!111
Injectors argument: Swallow had forward momentum, it's a tackle, the forward momentum is more his fault as opposed to the one stopping him and this needs to be less on everything else and just on the action.

As facts were on the Bombers side, AFL will give him 1 week as Loewe will talk them down from 3.

From the AFL site...

The tackle was graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, and the Bombers wanted to get it downgraded to low impact.

After 27 minutes of deliberation, chair Jeff Gleeson, Stewart Loewe and Stephen Jurica sided with the AFL, agreeing Merrett should have realised Sparrow was vulnerable and the potential for injury made it medium impact.

Did I read right in that Merretts ban was upheld on the ‘potential to cause injury’?

Yep. Commonly called “The Ben Long rule“.
