feel super bad for north supporters. there's is absolutely no doubt Kennett is hell bent on making Clarko's life a living nightmare. So any disappointment North feel is a Hawthorn and Kennett win. just disgusting really.

Kennett was fully made aware of issues at the Hawthorn FC involving racist attitudes towards Indig players following his comments to Cyril Riolis wife

Did nothing until it became public 4 years later then he dumped a few under the truck and drove off.

Watching him speak about clarko on channel 7 (and dropping in the beyond blue foundation) was actually gross, he could barely contain his glee at the whole thing and the toll it’s clearly taken.

I don’t have much love for Clarko, always seemed like an angry little prick, but the way this has all gone is an absolutely dig race for the victims and the alleged perpetrators not to much their families and the clubs involved.

I don't see any analogy between Kennett and the complaints the Rioli's made , and the alleged actions by Clarkson etc that have caused such a bombshell.
But i don't disagree that the investigation could have been a hand grenade tossed by Kennett.

On AFL360 last night Kath Loughan asked Jordan Lewis if the poor handling of their racism report, and it’s subsequent effect on Clarkson and co, has changed his attitude to the club in the same way it has changed Clarksons.

He replied, by saying not the club, he still loves the Hawks. But there are (and I’m paraphrasing here based on recollection) people still at the club, and some who have left, who he would find it difficult to look them in the eye.

I assumed either Kennet or Rioli would be amongst those, but I did wonder who the others were.

I also couldn’t help but feel he may have been speaking against players that were casting aspersions, but I could be completely off the mark there.

if you took anything from JK as a politician, when he doubles down he tends to be mired in shit. Footy is no different, this was under his watch, the man should uppercut himself when he makes comments about it.

100% and the way the investigation is which correct me if i am wrong he set up? means everyone is stuck in limbo. there's been a bunch of accusations made and there's no power to make anyone give any evidence, so the people accused are stuck with no way to clear their name. its just ****ed.

Most of the victims also have zero faith in the AFL unit, and I don't blame them, so they're not even giving statements to begin with. All smacks of a back patting exercise by the AFL and this reaslly needs to be independent.
