Oh I shed no tears for him don’t get me wrong. Just think the whole “Tom Stewart didn’t mean to ******* decapitate Prestia” crowd now baying for blood are a touch hypocritical.

Besides Tom Stewart looks like the sort who’s enjoy watching his missus doing the rounds at a swingers party without partaking himself, weirdo.

Has the real wannabe American redneck vibe to him with the dirty sanchez mo and mop hair.

De Goey getting the same amount of weeks as Caminiti is a joke, what De Goey did was way worse and there was no mitigating factors like the West Coast player instigating it or dropping his knees.

Collingwood can considering themselves very lucky he will only miss 3 matches, it still won't stop their moron supporters complaining about it though.
What Caminiti did was worse, given Degoey did an accepted football action and Caminiti didn’t.
Degoey accidentally got him high, but there was nothing wrong with what he did. Caminiti threw a strike. Not a football action, it’s significantly worse

Sort of along the same line as my thinking although I would note if Murphy didn’t slip Caminiti is doing something done 20 times a game.

DeGoeys bump if it doesn’t hit the head is still probably a week in modern footy but it’s not dirty. It was similar to Ryders from last year to me except that Paddy just stopped and braced, DeGoey dropped the shoulder for sure and 3 is fair to me, just thought the pearl clutching was a bit much.

I disagree that what Caminiti did was worse and you can argue that was accidental too and that Caminiti meant to hit Murphy in the chest not the head.

There was also significantly more force in De Goey's hit, Hewett needed to be carried off the field while Murphy ran off the field and was mouthing off.

I find it funny that people were at pains to defend Tom Stewart last year and concerned for his mental health because his hit was “so out of character” yet DeGoey is a weak dog shotting prick.

Stewart went out of his way to hit Prestia, DeGoey chose not to move.

They’re at least equal in terms of the footy action if not Stewart’s is worse.

Could’ve been worse. If he was in the RWB and hit someone like that he would’ve got 6 weeks for sure.

Caminiti threw a punch. Degoey hip and shouldered.

One of them is acceptable on a footy field. One of them isn’t (unless you’re punching the ball).

What Caminiti did was far worse, given it was off the ball and isn’t a football action.

Lining up a little kid was the dog act IMO.

This is where I disagree. DeGoey didn’t line him up, DeGoey is standing there and the kid runs at DeGoey.

Once he got the opening he dropped the shoulder and drove it hard but this isn’t Yates on Dermie.

Caminiti's action was determined not to be a punch, but a push off for a marking contest that went wrong which is an acceptable football act.

He pushes Seb's face with his open hand, it's only shown once during the coverage - I'm definitely not imagining it lol. Nothing in it you'd think but Gresh does strike me as a different sort of unit.
They should name the stadium 🏟️ “The House!”

If it was determined to be a punch I'm sure he would have got more than 3 weeks.

We argued at the tribunal that Caminiti was just using the tactics he was taught at training to get separation from his opponent to try to take a mark and that he accidentally collected Murphy high after he dropped his height. Thankfully the tribunal accepted that or he probably would've got 4+ weeks.

There was also the fact that Murphy was being a niggling prick and instigated the incident but I don't think that was taken into account by the tribunal.

Looked like tough guy Glenn Archer picking off a baby Lenny Hayes. Chose to bump to rough him up instead of tackle him when he'd know he was a little kid.

That's right, could have just moved then. It looked like he'd set to bump before the handball to me.
It’s pretty subjective I suppose so I can see what you’re saying.

To me from where he was he wasn’t getting out of the way in time (and given the handball had only just gone I wouldn’t want one of our boys to) but he didn’t need to drop the shoulder and drive through a simple turn and block would have sufficed.

He definitely chose to bump and hit the head, hence 3 weeks seemed to me about right (and I criticize the tribunal probably more than anyone) I just don’t think the witch hunt shit was fair.

Kozis head missile earlier this year was far far worse, he only didn’t leave Smith in a coma by the grace of god. Stewart also worse as he was going at Prestia.

I would say that the mrps findings talking about “consistency” and “genuine remorse” having a bearing on the outcome were bizarre. They have never taken precedence into account before and genuine remorse is stupidly subjective. Me finally thinking they got one right is more pure fluke than process.

If anything it proves yet again that the mro/mrp process is part dumb luck, part pure incompetence and part good lawyers. I’m also still yet to hear one good reason why anything “graded” as more than two weeks goes straight to the tribunal too, just do the ****ing grading, pick a number and give it, if the player and club doesn’t like then go to the tribunal, it’s idiotic.

We're going OK in terms of age and games played demographics.

These things are pretty irrelevant IMO. The side you put out by the week is more relevant. Most weeks this year we've been missing a lot of senior talent and we have a very small population of those in the 27 to 35 age range anyway.

Without looking at the figures you'd guess we are about mid table for games and age averages most weeks. We are playing a handful of young players and still have a decent amount of developing players above them.

No surprise to see the Bulldogs well out in front on the free kick differential ladder, they get an armchair ride in most of their games and their game against the Gold Coast it was a rort with how much the umpires favoured them, thankfully the umpires attempts to drag the Dogs over the line failed.

It's also no surprise to see us down towards the bottom of the free kick differential ladder again, we seem to be down there a lot along with Richmond.

My wife who isn't much of footy follower always tells me I'm deranged when it comes to umpires. She thinks I'm paranoid and act like they are out to get us if I complain about them. She points to her insane footy friend who thinks that the Pies are constantly being persecuted and me being the same as her.

I feel vindicated. The maggots are cheats and shit people.....confirmed.

We all love the story about Caminiti and him getting picked up by the Saints and then debuting in the first round but how would Ryan Maric be feeling.

Selected in the rookie draft last week and will play his first game of AFL less than two weeks after being drafted and moving to Perth.

Unbelievable its the 6th different team he will have played for this season.
