We all love the story about Caminiti and him getting picked up by the Saints and then debuting in the first round but how would Ryan Maric be feeling.

Selected in the rookie draft last week and will play his first game of AFL less than two weeks after being drafted and moving to Perth.

Unbelievable its the 6th different team he will have played for this season.

Love to see these young guys realising their dream. He should be able to get a good run at it at the Eagles at the moment too.

I think he kicked one goal for the West Coast WAFL side last weekend, that's good enough to get a game for West Coast, beggars can't be choosers.

Good luck to him but I think he's going to find it a hell of a lot tougher playing AFL against the Crows, not every rookie is as a good as the Hammer.

It’s actually unbelievable what a free ride the Dogs get year after year. Do not tell me it’s just because they’re first to the ball, that is crap they are no better than any other team. Just some weird cultural thing with the umpires. The 2016 granny still annoys the hell out of me.

Dogs and Port tonight should be a cracker, looking forward to it. Pretty hard one to pick I reckon, Port have been playing well but somehow I'm getting a vibe the doggies might get it done at home. A real 50/50 game, checking out the ladder just now the Dogs probably need it more as silly as that sounds, losing a home game here will have them kinda back with the pack. Libba and the Bont will have to drive it if they're to get home you'd think, either way I can see it being a close one.

A Port win will be a better result for us, it will keep the Dogs from nipping at our heels while Port winning doesn't matter as they are out of reach now.

I've tipped Port and I think they should win as they are the better and more consistent team and they seem to play well at Marvel too as we found out.

Anyway it will be good to just kick back on the couch now with a win under our belts and watch all the other teams fight it out over the long weekend.
