Can everyone remember how many times Essendon and Dodoro have 'won' trade week?
And every year the same old media hacks have them in finals, usually top four.

Can't wait to hear it again this trade week and all the expert predictions having them certainties as top 8.
Can't wait for them to be in ANZAC Day and half a dozen blockbuster games next year.

Bombers just aren't going to straight ditch the Dodo clique, that is scorched earth and Scott does not have that sort of pull at present. After all it was just 2 weeks ago that club brokers were "Mahoney and Dodo need to sort their beef out FFS" and Mahoney summarily got booted from his position as footy boss and Dodo chortled and chugged along to his next victim.

Scott has to pick that battle very precisely as the Dodo is not extinct and his chest is puffed and ready to shirtfront the next suit that squares up outta that club. This is just a "new" battle that might become a war at present.

Could well be but now Mahoney Quit because he could cope with the infighting they say , you may well see the Empire fall , Sheedy days could well be numbered on the board and if he goes Dodo goes - if he wanted Hird back as coach this just tells you how out of touch he is.
There will be fallout from this and if the board is pressured enough the moves will come.

They picked up some very good players but they have also made some huge blunders and the blunders should had Dodo sacked many years ago.
Daniher leaving was a warning sign something wasn't right as you know the Danihers are held like messiahs at the Bombers, they went through coaches like they were nothing - when you have people in the back ground stabbing you in the back you don't last long, unless you fix the back stabbing.
That might just happen in the coming weeks.
