Umpire: Yes, you kicking the ball off balance and under pressure went 30 metres infield from the line that could have bounced in any direction. took a turn and went out so was clearly you not having sufficient intent.

Umpire: Yes here's the vision of Weitering placing the ball straight to the boundary line out of play in the dying moments of the game against Geelong.

I know a lot of people aren’t buying in yet but my goodness I would kill for that Carlton midfield. Still got Walsh and Hewett to come back into it as well. They’ve probably got too many but I’d rather that then what we’ve experienced the last decade. Frustrating.

If Carlton play that fast footy they really should be top 4 this year.

Their list is really good now. The only issues for me is that small forward role. Motlop is the only one with any real X factor and he's still very raw. Owies, Durdin and Honey look a bit meh.

That Young bloke looks like a great replacement for Jones and Cowan looks like a 100 game player already. It's incredible how quickly a list can go from crap to excellent.

Voss has a list that is top 4, the pressure is on him to do something with it.

You can get away with goals from your talls and pressure from your smalls (just look at Melbourne and Richmond and their premierships) but you can’t get away with a lack of talent and they’ve got it all over the park. It took a while but they’re loaded.
