Can he get a medical pay out outside of the cap?

I suspect he’ll keep on trying to get back out there though.
We don’t need him to retire and nor should he. His deal will be minimum chips, we should be giving him every opportunity to make a career for himself given he has potential and he’s not taking up any significant cap space. Heck, $80k of his salary is already outside the cap anyway…

Any updates on Krueger's expected return? Or is it still sometime in the first six rounds?

Relax people, Dean will be fine. Probably just came back to early and did to much.
Not sure how the mid season draft works but if we delist a player if at all possible, Dean may be good to go.
Krueger is a bigger worry but it does not mean his shoulders will never mend fully.
I agree anointed one. It can be a career defining injury but when the fat one speaks, I listen, plus I have a feeling he will be one that recovers well and still has next year to prove himself

Will play round six and by the third Q, I expect gis kneecap to dislodge and hit me right in the face from the second row at the G behind the goals
🤣

I have an indigenous mate that calls me daily for a live chat from Australia. He is the spitting image of Kreuger. Albeit an older version.
Uncanny. Small head, same face with eyes close together, huge shoulders and tall.
A real dead ringer. He looks like his dad LMAO

He appears to be held together with strands of spaggetti, He only has to look at a football and he gets injured

Robbie Tarrant played 39 games across his first 7 seasons due to shoulder issues, and that doesn't even factor in his draft year being derailed by a shoulder reco. Kreuger only just into his sixth year. Hopefully his issues are behind him once he returns this time.

“i have a feeling” - the words that make me shake in my boots.

i have a feeling he’ll never walk again. How will we tell who is right?! #brain#brainbreaker

In the second quarter I expect him to run into the goal post, be cut vertically in half, and hop around in both pockets like a demented chicken.

Being a glass half full kind of guy, I’m just happy he got through that first quarter.

Lipinski out for half the year. Damn!

If he did a quick return ala Kreuger last year would be back for last 6 rounds roughly. As a repeat operation I would think they would be conservative. Reckon will be touch and go whether he plays again in 23. If we are in contention mode he would try and get back if not may be safer to wait for 24.

I guess the docs and how the season goes will make a difference. We’ll miss his skill and hard running. Was a key part of our team.

WHE and Carmichael no have the chance to fill that spot.

Hi folks,
Is Brayden Maynard injured? If so when is he expected to return?
Cheers.

Cheers. Getting information about other clubs' injuries is very hard.
Its hard enough getting an injury update from the club is hard enough too haha. Leading into round 1, we should start to get regular updates at least

Draper doesn’t exist even though he was MIA since prior to intraclub and only began running again

At least Krueger looks like he has kept himself in shape and things sound like they're tracking OK.

Lipinski sounds pretty promising too. Same shoulder but different type of injury. So at least it's not a recurrence.
