Yeah Watson and a tall should be the goAs much as I usually go in to bat for the little blokes, I'd rather go a tall.

Unless we get another pick in the top 10, I wouldn't take Watson. Very happy to be wrong of course.Yeah Watson and a tall should be the go
He’s supposedly kossie Pickett on steroidsUnless we get another pick in the top 10, I wouldn't take Watson. Very happy to be wrong of course.
Take it to the * thread! He’s supposedly kossie Pickett on steroids
Not as Kelly's age, has 5 years to run on contract and where we are positioned on the ladder (stifle development of the youngsters?), it would be a useless deal unless the Giants have salary cap issues and you structured it like a Treloar-like deal?I think that ship has well and truly sailed. Do we want to be carrying that contract in 3 years, even if we front end it some?

Don't see them doing Bowes-style salary dump trade which you would be mad to pick up even for their (at the moment) picks 4 & 5! But if it was for Lachie Whitfield, l think that is a different conversation.....
Yep the Tip Rat's not only win games off their own boot, they also make opposition clubs hate you. There's very few elite small forwards in the comp (Cameron, Greene, Papley, Kozzie, Rankine). Grab one when you have the chance. Chips in Watson.
This bloke pls. Kelly had his chance(s).Kelly or Whitfield off half back instead of hall/Lmac
Kelly off a wing instead of ….Kelly or Whitfield off half back instead of hall/Lmac
Best option is Clarko gets him round in the off season to finish his deck, regardless of whether he comes or not Clarko gets his deck finished. This bloke pls. Kelly had his chance(s).

Be very interesting what GWS do this year,,,,,paid big dollars to plenty of guys, who claim to have stayed for a tilt at a flag, only for other key ingredients to leave none more important that Cameron. They do a good job of regenerating mids through the draft, but now investing in the draft in talls like Cadman going to take time to come on, where does that leave the mid to late 20's players on big dough? Daresay Taranto and Hopper leaving eased that burden a bit, only to need to pay more to guys like Green. Can't help but think their flag tilt went out the door with Cameron. This bloke pls. Absolutely it did.. they're in no-mans land.Be very interesting what GWS do this year,,,,,paid big dollars to plenty of guys, who claim to have stayed for a tilt at a flag, only for other key ingredients to leave none more important that Cameron. It’s like the initial prediction of never ending top ten picks came true, but not the flags at the same time. 2016 was a sliding doors moment in my humble opinionFortunately for them, the've made some pretty smart list management deals since.
They got a decent deal for Cameron and their deals for Hopper and Taranto are excellent.
They can't help the player retention, but they are limiting the damage.
I think it’ll be interesting watching us, gws and the eagles in upcoming drafts.Be very interesting what GWS do this year,,,,,paid big dollars to plenty of guys, who claim to have stayed for a tilt at a flag, only for other key ingredients to leave none more important that Cameron. They never got their list profile right from the very start. Even when Cameron was there, they had 69 other tall forwards so at one stage he was pushed up to a wing and couldn't get a kick. Now all those tall forwards have left and they are drafting new ones.Be very interesting what GWS do this year,,,,,paid big dollars to plenty of guys, who claim to have stayed for a tilt at a flag, only for other key ingredients to leave none more important that Cameron. I think they got their list right, I think they stuck it out with Leon Cameron for too long, after Sheedy that job should’ve always gone to Mark Williams, I shutter to think what Mark could’ve done with that list too. They never got their list profile right from the very start.
