Do you think Ross knows that Big footy exists? I'd love to see a journo ask Ross for his views on something that was raised here. Would be good for a laugh.

This site would be likeIf i was Ross , i'd read big footy.
I'd go to training and do some really oddball stuff, then come on here and see all the weird stuff you lot conclude about it.
RTB: Skipper, come here."OK guys, today i want everyone named Jack to wear a moonboot. "
"OK boss, but why, our feet and legs are fine"
"Don't you worry about that".
hahaha man this place is a cancer, a discussion emerges around the leadership of our captain and now we're all "fighting about it", bunch of drama queens
Well that's a lot of my angst at games that would be gone.Infact, it will be the shorter sharper handballs that will be noticeable immediately
Josh Battle I’m gonna get you to go to a new position this week: The Wing! And on the opposite wing we’re putting cooper SharmanRTB: Skipper, come here.
Steele: Yeah what boss
RTB: I want you to walk around looking serly, muttering to yourself and getting angry, especially near to where those nuffies are standing watching training. Surely one will report to BigFooty you aren't up to it.
Steele: OK Ross, the sad arses on that forum will fight about it for ages.
RTB: I'll put the best posts up on the projector next team meeting for a laugh and bonding session.
Well that's a lot of my angst at games that would be gone.
I was at a game in the past couple of years and described our handballing to my wife who is still learning the game...
"We don't know when to handball it, we don't who to handball it to, we don't know the space to handball it into for the advantage of the receiving player and we don't know the strength to put on it but it's always too little or too much. What they do seem to think is that just getting rid of it ends their responsibility"
It was so frustrating to watch.
If that is being addressed by the new coaching staff then that fills me with some hope that we can improve in a number of areas.
The sloppy handballs that go 1 metre behind the free player streaming past used to kill me.
Constantly destroyed our momentum and it felt like it was happening every week. Tidy that up and we're probably instantly a goal better per game.
Dunstan was one of the main culprits. I remember a game against the doggies maybe 2 years ago when we got thrashed and every single one of our handballs were at feet or worse the ground which would cause a turnover where as the dogs were so quick and precise with every handball which made there ball movement look so good. The sloppy handballs that go 1 metre behind the free player streaming past used to kill me.

Yes I’ve assumed we are.Does anyone know when we have to make a call on Eyre and Stocker? Is it assumed we're going to sign on both?
That handball comment was so true. I was staggered that professional footballers could be so inept at a fundamental skill.Well that's a lot of my angst at games that would be gone.

The skill of selection should sort that out.not sure how skillful we will be, when for many years it hasn't improved much.
Yep…get there around 9.30!Will there be main training this Friday?
hahaha ok, Im just going off the meta posts about "someone saw steel muttering to himself and now all the nuffies are questioning his leadership" kinda crap. The reality is, steele is a bloody good player and leader, but he isn't the vocal type of leader that a reiwoldt or voss or buckley were, more in the harvey mould. I have no real understanding of what is best, only a gut feel, and my gut feel has always been that wilkie would be a better captain, a more vocal and demanding leader. That doesn't mean I think steele sucks or he's not doing a good job even, just an opinion. But if RTB thinks steele's the man then I'm down with it. I'd be very surprised if he lost the captaincyDoes anyone know when we have to make a call on Eyre and Stocker? Is it assumed we're going to sign on both?
