Fremantle recruit Luke Jackson has wasted no time reconnecting with his West Aussie roots, spending his first Christmas break since moving home to Perth drinking Bintangs in Bali.

After joining the Dockers on a lucrative contract in the trade period following a premiership with Melbourne, Jackson is spending the silly season living it up on the holiday island with mates, including Collingwood defender Trey Ruscoe.

The 21-year-old posted pictures from his trip on Instagram on Wednesday night in a post captioned “good times”.
In one picture, a chiselled Jackson is donning Fremantle budgy smugglers by a pool while holding a beer.

Others show him and his friends riding mopeds and hitting the Bali nightlife.

Sad to see Jackson letting himself go in the offseason... So out of shape... Cool swimsuit though. lol

Looks like he is drinking the lower alcohol Bintang Radler.

Nothing to see here except a peak conditioned athlete drinking low strength beer in Budgie Smugglers.

The Jackson article was fine. After talking about him letting down his hair it also mentioned he did a training session on Xmas eve just before flying out and that he and Ruscoe went for a run in Bali on Xmas day.

The only issue I have with that report of Jackson in Bali is the moped part. I seem to remember it being the biggest cause of hospitalisation for Aussies holidaying in Bali.

Australians who have never ridden a motorbike and don't have licenses come and hire one, get drunk, pop various pills, and ride of the edge of the rode on a regular basis. Then their families organise GoFundMe to pay their bills.

If Jackson does that he's an idiot.
