Just playing devil's advocate .....after being drafted #1, and touted as a generational player ....is he any different to Daicos, who people are paying $500K for ....or an Ashcroft this year ?

It seems his attitude in 2022 has somehow diminished his footy talent .....I'd propose, his talent is unaffected, he's going into a better footy program ....and has a point to prove

We can always use one of our 4 million trades down to a Fyfe/McLean/King type if he doesn't perform.
I think he needs to average 90'ish to make $150k - that might be a stretch, but worth some thought anyway.

With that midfield, I'd suggest you do!

I've gone cold on Hopper, only because I want to have 5 SP MIDS, and taking Hopper at M6 weakens my FWD or DEF.
It means I play Ashcroft and Phillips at M6 and M7 or M8 with another rookie. Have Gibney there right now, with Johnson/Baker on the bench. I think the MID rookies can cover M8 better than the need to field 2 rookies FWD or DEF.

I’ve also considered downgrading Hopper to a $250k player to avoid another midpricer in defence and potentially F5

Pretty much brand new here. Been having a play around. Quite like the look of this so far. Gone light on in defence - really like Richards, Coffield has been taking kick outs in Saints praccys. Money to be made there.

Really like Anderson in the mids, had Taranto but went up to Anderson instead.

Forward line solid.

I usually grab Zerrett after he bottoms out mid-season, and he usually does well for me. Gave me some huge scores late last year.
Had Ridley during his big year.

Apart from that, I haven't really had any Bombers either. Not going near Parish. Stringer is more punchable than punchable.
Your team sucks for SC.

I've owned Jelly a few times. He can hurt to watch. Hope he goes better for you now that loopy Leon is gone.
FWIW I have Tom Green currently at M4!

Daicos averaged 25 disposals last year does he improve on that I’ve been asking myself this question for a while now I think I’ll wait to see during the preseason if he’s a must start or not on what position he plays

True. I traded him in then also. But his 71 & 73 in rounds 21 & 22 would have gone a fair way to kill off many a finals campaign. Mine included.
