The third tall defender spot is highly competitive and with Coff to come back it will be hotly contested, where Highmore might impress Lyon is his courage and directness at the ball, whereas Coff probably is a bit more of an interceptor and is a little more skillful in general play and with with disposal so as I say, a tough year ahead for Highmore to crack in.

Played some minutes in the guts last week but looked pretty average.
Think there is concern on his defensive work so try to find another use for his disposal.
Probably needs to boost his tank to become a wing.
Would be interesting to see if he can play a HFF / pressure fwd role but not sure the speed is there.
coming off lots of injuries in a pretty poor side. Give him some time to get involved. Has sincs potentially imo.
Must be modelling his defensive efforts on Hipwood and Daniher.

Would like to see Bytel do more than his usual mid 20 possession game he's be dishing out. Needs to dominate at VFL level to show he's good enough for the next step.

You'd hope so. To be fair though that side we put out last week was no where near VFL quality.
The only St Kilda listed players were Sharman, Highmore and a few first and second year players.
Whilst the long injury list has not affected the seniors due to some decent depth, it's killed the VFL side.
Soft attack on the ball from Sharman leads to the bombers goal there... Come on mate, show you want it.
