Blues 9th v Swans 11th
Both teams have had two wins.

Will be interesting x1 Ally Morphett v. x2 Carlton girls (Breann Moody and Jess Good)in the ruck
To the game, she destroyed Lauren Wakfer in the ruck contest and around the ground – 34 hitouts, ten clearances, and 20 disposals is an awesome display. But to further ram the point home about how dominant she has been this season – she currently averages 61 ruck contests per game, averaging 33.8 hitouts and seven to advantage. On top of that, she averages seven clearances per game.

Carlton's ruck duo is the best in the competition

The one-two punch of Breann Moody and Jess Good in the ruck for the Blues has been a powerful asset this year as the club works to re-establish itself. Against Richmond on Saturday the pair combined for 44 hitouts, 27 disposals, six tackles and two goals

"There are not too many harder tasks than Carlton at IKON." Hear from senior coach Scott Gowans and Brooke Lochland

I haven't listened to the interview yet, or read the summary, but just based on that quote it sounds like Horse sat Scotty down and gave him a 101 in press conferences and Scotty has shown some aptitude as a student. "We'll be preparing for them to bring their best...", " they've been the best team in the comp at hard ball gets in the back 10th of the ground..." "they have a lot of talented players", "it will be a big challenge especially on their home deck, but we're excited!"

Changes all make sense. Paris looks ok but there was one moment where she instinctively played on in a poor position and got tackled then pinged for HTB. Of the Irish contingent, she looks the most raw.

Feel for Mitchell but I think there's less room for talls in AFLW with speed and mobility being of more importance in the women's game.

My number one hope for this game is Ham can get through unscathed. She's really had a rough start to her career, injury wise.

Looks like Bella will give Ally the few cut outs she gets without Alice there, or perhaps Alexia.

The way Morphett looks and more importantly plays, she barely needs a break. Every player should be put on her fitness regime. She's a credit to herself and her trainer.
Her trainer was running with her Dad
“I went back home to Wagga for a few months and started running with my dad and came back to Sydney during that pre-season period and continued

Give Ally's dad a job at the club.

For those who can't watch because you're at work, and would like to hear the game in the background, go to the game on the AFL website or app, then click listen live.

Both WARF Radio and Casey Radio are covering the game.

Not sure what the forward strategy is. Seems to be rope a dope before entering the forward 50 and kicking the ball sideways to an opponent.

Plenty of time in the forward line for only a little reward. What’s it sound like on TV seems like there are at least 2 swans supporters for ever Carlton supporter here.
Sydney cheer squad coming through loud and clear!
