Fair.

They got the mids and ruck.
Decent tall forward .

Brought in helmet and parker .

They have not shown much improvement even in their losses. Take Adelaide for example, they finished bottom four but had a style which tested a lot of teams. Even West Coast showed a lot more than North Melbourne and they have considerably less talent on the park.

North Melbourne will do well just to get to 8 wins and that may still only be good enough for a bottom six finish.

I can't see any dramatic spike like we saw from Hawthorn. Hawthorn are a proven commodity and know how to get it right. North are an embarrassment to the competition.

I thank god every day that people like you arent involved with the club.
oh, im so hurt.

Actually, I'm probably more hurt that there's still people that think the way you obviously do.
Give kids a chance. Take a leap. And see what happens.

You dont think that the GFC hasn't done that?

FWIW I said that we shouldn't trade out F1.
But nth probably needed to fill something.

No, i dont think our club would trade a pick likely to be in the top 10 for pick 27.

Please stop posting it's getting embarrassing.

This trade is going to be very funny in 12 months when they've traded pick 5 for pick 27 and a pick in the 30s

Can't believe how many hands this trade would have had to go through, yet no one stopped it.
I love the trade by North. They need key position talls not mids and they will probably if there are quality key position early in next years pool. They saw Whitlock as a swing who can play both ends and by getting Richmond's 2nd rounder enables them to trade there own for next year and they may trade in early tomorrow to get another one.

Seems like the coaches can't get thought to the players at north and cows.

North gave up the 2nd pick tomorrow for Caleb Daniel.

They just traded a probable top 5 pick for:

Pick 25 at best
Caleb Daniel
Upgrading from pick 29 to 27.

Whitlock is such a long term prospect that they could have waited a year and picked their KPP next year with their first pick

I can't believe there are people on here supporting the absolute shit trade that North did. Was it for a Standout player? NO.

If you have Shanahan who many rated in the top 15, you might feel ok about it.
But Matt Whitlock was widely expected to start his range from about where they got him. Hardly a slider.
