I understand some of the Geelong talk with the dodgy under the table payments, but realistically who on their list is this huge salary at the moment? Or should be?
Danger and Jezza definitely and probably Stewart on decent money.
Outside of that who would be?
Their other vets wouldn't be on much. Duncan, Kolodjashnij, Blicavs, Stanley, Stengle, Zach Guthrie

Why investigate. Hand them a trade ban, even if there is nothing to see. You can't have everyone remember.

Smiled for the first time post grand final today when i saw St Kilda's president sooking about how hard done by they are. This is the same club that recruited a banged up Hanners on a long term deal without doing due diligence and recruiting Zac Jones as some sort of backline superstar .

Christ, the AFL should just give them an academy. Everyone knows they'd **** that up too.

I think the argument is as you say, less there at the moment per say. And they aren't breaking any rules - they are just very good at doing what they do. On my part, the primary criticism is of the joke of a TPP framework in place, which heavily favours some clubs over others - with imo far more impact on competitiveness across the competition than things like the academies do.

My sources have it that it's amazing that Slobbo and poindexter lasted so long as it turned in to hate for each other , especially when GW's ego exploded

All this crap about the Cats is just that , they are obviously smarter than most and don't just give out long contracts to those that don't deserve it , they promote it as a good club , culture and life style on the coast .
We need to worry about what we are doing .
