I’m not sure it is in W though, is it? We seem to have trouble taking territory.
Lambert is a jet and when Smith goes off the ball we have sfa. Veselly has good hands but is not a bullocker. If the girls coming in can give Smith a chop out, with minimal drop off that's a win.
Understand they are not in and under but beggars can't be choosers.
Hopefully Barr stays fit on the wing allowing Patrikos to play rebounding half back.

Well we drafted
Zoe Besanko...any relation to Neil?
Tall utility type with pick 32.

Kyla Forbes looks like a smaller version of Nicki Dal. Played back but can play inside. Pick 55??

Alanna Gee 2022 First Rnd draft pick from GCS did her ACL rnd 2 this year...can play anywhere. Pick 58

Hope they go well and add some speed and sure ball handling to our squad

Zoe’s highlights look very tidy.

I really like our picks, especially considering the picks we had.

Besanko's athleticism for a tall is fantastic and I can see her being a good partner for Wardlaw.

Forbes is the one I've looked least into but her versatility is very appealing. Could slot in anywhere.

Gee was considered the best QLD prospect a few years ago and still only 20. Low cost but high upside with her.

I have watched Besanko train at Stingrays quite a bit in the recent past, as my daughter is in the same program (albeit a couple of years younger). Zoe's kicking is elite, and she has a real physical presence around the footy. Also, good clean hands below her knees. I see her as a CHF rolling into the centre bounce as a burst clearance player when the game requires it. Will hopefully become a great foil for Jesse up forward (what Friend so far hasn't been able to achieve). In my mind would have certainly gone 1st round, but has been hampered by injury in the last 12 months.
