2024 Grand Final Predictions?

Butters, Rozee, JHF will likely kick a handful from the middle most weeks, Georgiades is back and is good for 30+ goals.
Marshall and Finlayson could easily kick 40+ each. Then they've got Lord who is coming on well, and Willie Rioli who will likely kick 30+.

It's not at all hard to see where they could score goals from.
You forgot about Wingard and Impey.

Poorthorn.

Yeah wtf happened to Port? They were flying until they played us and lost narrowly. Horrendous finish.

That being said I'm not ruling them out this year. Young list, good home ground advantage. Many weapons in their midfield arsenal. Dangerous group.
What happened to Port?
They played finals
One of the flimsiest , limp wristed teams going round

Yep it was a disaster no question.

In fairness to them the teams they ran into were red hot. Brizzy speaks for itself with that team and the home ground factor. GWS were Top level from just forward of the half way mark. They played exceptional finals footy and if they can maintain that into this season really would be the team to beat.

In hindsight, Port's season hit the skids when they underestimated Carlton and rested players for that game in preparation for the Pies game the following week.

They lost both of those games and enormous momentum - they should have taken the win against Carlton to maintain their top 2 position and entered the finals with a home Qualifying Final.

I tipped them that week mate. Against the Blues. **** I'm good.

Haha who wouldn't with those absentees. And you're right. They should have. Dumb move.

I would be forgiving if it was the first time it happened but after a while a pattern emerges

I'm still predicting this.

Pies-Brisbane

I got to go with my original pick and stay on The Hot Pies. Daicos will win The Brownlow if he stays injury free. Schulz will snag 40+ for the year Josh Daicos will have a big one as well.

Lions are going to be extremely hard to beat though. Neale is ferocious and good on him for snaring two Charlies now level with Fyfe. I don't know if he left because of him but whatever he made the beneficial decision and his footy and his team have showed Brisbane are the better option.

Dangerous Dees and BadBlooded-Blues? Carlton will have an enormous tilt at it in 2024 and Kerno will kick even more than last year barring injury. I see them as the one's that could spoilt the party and I wouldn't rule out a Carlton-Collingwood Grand Final. I think The Blues are going to be the next big thing in Footy as they could create a dynasty of their own. I think realistically however that happens in 2025 and beyond. Stacked with talent.

As mentioned I just feel The Crows would be the one's to really step up and have a red hot crack as they'll have a fire burning in their belly after getting shafted badly by the umps costing them a chance to play finals. Good enough to get the top 4 but it's going to be close again with so much talent on most teams raring to go at it.

The Bulldogs I'm not even going to bother predicting. When they look good things to go all the way, they don't play finals. When you draw a line through them, they make it or win it. It's like I'm watching Italian soccer.

Geelong - I can't rule out that quality. I hope they stay asleep in 2024. I hope.
