To be honest I wouldn't mind Johnson being sub and have Erasmus come into the 22 and spend more time forward than onball. O'Meara played on the wing a fair bit in preseason. He could spend time there with Brayshaw and Banfield also spending time on the wing too. I think Johnson should be played in his natural position of onball more so having him play that role getting subbed in is better than him playing mostly wing for the entire match in my view. In: Erasmus, Darcy

Darcy in for Tabs
Erasmus for Freddy. Expect to see Fyfe/Jaeger forward a bit more this week.
Jaeger into the 22, Johnno sub and would want to produce as I feel like he has been off most of the season (good vs North). Simpson in if Switta does not make it, not flush with options.
From what I’ve seen Brayshaw has been playing quite a bit of Wing. He Johnson and Banfield rotating through. Don’t mind your suggestion with JOM and Erasmus part of the HF, Wing and mid rotations. At Peel Erasmus has played 100% mid.To be honest I wouldn't mind Johnson being sub and have Erasmus come into the 22 and spend more time forward than onball. Its mostly good news here I think. Switta a test for this week and Freddy 1 week is much better than I thought would be the case even if Freddy's held back for an extra week.
Probably, but with such an extended period it is more guess work than anything at this stage. After getting the swelling down, You would not be surprised if it was a little shorter or longer.Oscar at 4-5 months, is still the year really.
Just means, he will have a full preseason.
Get him back for finals this year and next couple , netting us 2 flags then on sell him back to Adelaide for a haul of curtin and 1st rounderWhen does it go from being an unlucky injury to injury prone?
We've got Darcy and Cox both signed until 2030 but how many full seasons do we expect them to play until then?
Apart from his knee in 2020? I don't think Darcy had any long term/major injuries for quite some time, but then in the last 6-8 months he's done his hamstring, ankle, and knee all moderate-long term injuries.
Cox has done the same hammy twice in just over two years and that's on top of the ankle and stress fracture in the last few months. I'm not a doctor but I'd assume that requiring surgery to reattach your hamstring twice in a few years doesn't really bode well for the future.
Sometimes it's just bad luck, see Hayden Young and Alex Pearce as examples of players who have managed to stay fit. When does it go from being an unlucky injury to injury prone?

But when does it stop becoming bad luck and start becoming a pattern?Sometimes it's just bad luck, see Hayden Young and Alex Pearce as examples of players who have managed to stay fit.
he is much thinner than he used to beDarcy is a big boy. I'd be more shocked if he didn't have knee issues.

Is it that impressive when it comes to the Port medical team?I was impressed Soldo managed to avoid even an assessment after his head knock.
Pretty concerning tbh! He’s been having symptoms for ages now. Doesn’t bode well for his long term healthOdin is stuck in Jason Weber purgatory.
