JASE BURGOYNE will miss Saturday's clash against St Kilda with a hamstring concern. Scans earlier this week revealed a hamstring strain, with the winger expected to miss up to a fortnight of football.

Ivan Soldo is continuing to manage knee soreness caused by scar tissue irritation, while Ryan Burton is expected to start running later this week as he recovers from bone bruising in his foot.

Kyle Marshall has entered concussion protocols after a head knock in the SANFL, while Lachie Charleson will be tested after hyperextending his knee on Sunday.

Small forward Willie Rioli will also be assessed for a possible return, as he works toward coming back from a calf strain.

Injury list
Lachie Charleson (knee) - test
Willie Rioli (calf) - test
Kyle Marshall (concussion protocols)
Jase Burgoyne (hamstring) - 1-2 weeks
Trent McKenzie (hamstring) - 1-2 weeks
Ryan Burton (foot) - 3-4 weeks
Ivan Soldo (knee) - 4 weeks
Sam Powell-Pepper (knee) - season

So Burton has gone from "someone trod on his foot" to now 3-4 weeks (after already missing 2).

Soldo has gone from nearly playing on Sunday to now also being out for 4 weeks.

Rioli has been a test for calf for about 4 weeks.

What on earth is going on

So Soldo is picked to lead the Magpies line on Sunday, doesn’t play, and is now out for four weeks? Must have been a hell of an event that occurred between Thursday night and Sunday. Shit show.
They treat us like idiots

With Jase out its a perfect time to debut Lorenz on that wing.
It's Ken, he'll pick Boak to replace him.

They should be picking Lorenz though. If they do, it wouldn't surprise me if we see that early in the week and they use that to generate some positive media.

Shame that Jase will miss Saturday’s game, but will he still be fit for Sunday’s?

Our own media people don’t even know what day we’re playing.
This still hasn't been corrected a full 17 hours after it was published by the way. And the error has been pointed out across multiple social platforms.

Who cares right, it's such a small thing?

Well if it's such a small thing, it should be easy to get right.

Football and Game Day is what this club does. Why it exists, its bread and butter. And not only can they not get the day of this week's game correct in an official club memo, they can't be bothered fixing it either 🤣😂.

Sorry to make a mountain out of a mole hill, but for me this is symptomatic of a wider malaise that has been hanging over this club for far too long.

Still not fixed 48 hours later. Elite club 👌🏼👌🏼

Rioli and Boak in. Ratugolea drops out with the hammy.

Nick Moore and Calvett out with calfs for the SANFL side. Pascoe returns from his hand injury.

Charleson's knee is ok.

I love the old "They're still awaiting the scan results". Seriously who buys this shit.

Just call it as it is.

"The club have yet to release the his injury status, however he appears to have torn a hamstring and will be unlikely for selection for a few weeks."

Lachie Jones possible calf, and Todd Marshall subbed with hammy tightness.
