Chopped and changed a number of times, but this how I rate top 7, which is influenced by players that can play more than one position

Lalor
Langford
FOS
Smith
Lombard
Ashcroft
Draper

Of those, think Jagga has the highest floor. Lalor, FOS, Draper higher ceilings

I think Hynes and Hannaford are criminally underrated, have both in my top 12

Tauru isn't in my top 12

Dont stress. Ive noticed alot of casual fans and bloggers are overly focused on carltons immediate need for speed. The club will be taking a longer term view, hence Jagga.

Should have seen how some on the Blue Abroad channel were blowing up about the Jagga news.

He is definitely not a casual fan! He attends many of the games, talks with prospects and recruiters etc. His whole agenda is to give fans more of an insight into the life of recruiters, what they do and how they do it etc. Given it is his 'job', I would give him a bit more credit.

I’ll back Jagga, if that who we end up with, and he is the safest pick…

But, is his upside limited when compared to FOS & Draper? He has been in full time training mode vs other boys, as he didn’t go to school this year I believe

I don’t think that makes THAT much of a difference. At the end of the day, none of them have had AFL level fitness trainers or coaches or elite players like Cripps and Walsh teaching them everyday.

Think Jagga is a true pro and is gonna get the best out of himself. I have no clue about Finn but he doesn’t seem that guy. Sid seems a pro but I wouldn’t say his ceiling is miles above what Jaggas can be

Jagga is gonna be awesome . We are lucky to have him, and he’ll be lucky to win a flag in his first year - pretty rare for a top 3 draft pick ! He’s a great young man and a sensational role model for those that have/are following his pathway. Onya Jagga💪
we don't have him yet. anything can happen tomorrow

It’s what he did after that game which shows the character he has, how coachable he is and how impressive Jagga is.

When his coach sat him down and told him to try to be more damaging with his possessions he applied to his game and the next game he adapted and over 200m gained! He’s a beauty
Graduated high school last year, so has spent this entire year living as a professional, and has benefitted mightily in terms of on field performance. Seems like he’s ready to be dropped in to any team and impact

I'll have to back Jagga in to change his game slightly to suit what I think our needs are. He's incredibly talented and has the rare ability to slow time a little, however I feel we need a forward thruster, someone with attacking instinct and a bit of flare. Happy to trust the LM team though.

I decided to torture myself and watch Dylan Alexanders latest video critiquing Cals Phantom Draft. I was hoping he would confirm Jagga. But no, quite the opposite. He poo poo's the entire Jagga logic. Given it has cast major doubts in my head, I thought it only fair I inflect the torture on you all too...

I like his content, but he’s 100% wrong on this occasion.

I’ve been posting that it’s been Jagga for a while now.

I didnt mean he was a casual fan. Id put him in the blogger catergory. His views seem based more on his opinion then intel so Id back Twomey.

I agree that I’m not buying into the Tauru hype.

He could just as easily be a bust.

So if for some unlikely reason north take smith, then I wonder who we’d take out of fos and Draper?

Some rumours out there that the Crows will move up to get Smith. In that case, I think we have been planting the seed so that FOS falls to us.

Remember that clubs are only telling Twomey what they want him to know.

We are not going to know anything until the night.

Cal just reported tonight in his late phantom draft news that the trade between the crows and kangas is highly unlikely.

FYI Port are convinced Adelaide has committed to Draper.

Would seem to imply that a trade for 2 is unlikely?
If Roos want FOS it no longer makes sense.

Even if Adelaide could get an F2 (4+F2 for 2), the Roos would risk missing FOS if they trade down to 4. Not worth it for an F2 if hes their man.

Only made sense if they wanted Tauru and were willing to take him at 2, in which case F2 would have been a freekick.
