Just watched yesterday’s game crazy how good a season Burrow is having. Has so much Brady about him in the pocket.

I do think he could have two more wins this season even this shit defense if he could control a game better

This season, vs the Ravens:

Burrow - 820 yds, 9 TD, 1 INT;

Chase - 457 yds, 5 TD.

And lost both games!

Lamar had 8 TD versus Bengals.

The first time a divisional rivalry series has had 2 QBs with 8 TD or more each.

The most Epic divisional QB rivalry but it is completely lopsided with Lamar 9-1 versus the Bengals.

It’s incidental contact after the hand went up to deflect the ball. His body then falls over the defender, who he had pancaked.

I would have called it but I understand why it didn’t get called.

There was already 4 calls on that drive and a 4th down that should have gone against the Bengals…. Can’t keep relying on flags.

Cowboys may as well tank this season and aim for sanders in the draft. Dak isn't it , but if they have both, they won't have to rush sanders to start .

They will face stiff competition from the raiders, so they will have to really commit to someone like lance.

I'd kind of like to see them start Trey Lance.

We know what Cooper Rush is. We don't really know about Trey Lance, who could become yet another of the modern day QB who isn't blooming til they've been in the league 5 years - he could still become worth something to someone.

Exactly, worst case scenario he turns out semi decent and you can use him as a trade bait, or best case scenario ,he is trash and helps you get a top 3 pick.

Makes sense, but the fact hes been there for over a year now and hasn't been able to beat Rush out for the backup QB says a lot.

If the HC wasn't on an expiring contract, we might have seen them be a bit more creative and be able to use this time to figure out what's in house and best for the future like you guys are saying. Which is also what I would like to see selfishly.

But it's easier initially to go with a 'known quantity' that has successfully stood in previously. See how long it lasts though.
