Love your work young fella…quality report with a massive smattering of full stops..It's a quite day at the office today and as tumble weeds were blowing thru Rsea Park last Friday.......I thought I'd put in a few observations over and above "saintmike65's" and "Kick it lace out's" great training reports from last Wednesday.
As saintmike65 stated.....it was a full on match sim session and very physical.
And the "minor" injuries were piling up.
The Pou did something to his thumb......didn't look happy going off and came back with a thumb splint on....assured everyone he was ok(they all say that tho)
As saintmike65 mentioned .......the Hammer had a nasty collision with Heath.....he was hobbling quite badly....first thought was it was a very bad ankle injury.....he could hardly walk.
When he didn't go off and was trying to run......a "corkie" came to mind and he needed to run it out....PHEW.
The Hunter collision was apparently a bad one(I was inside seeing if the cafe had sold out of Roast Beef rolls......sensational for toasties)
Upon returning.....was told Hunter had broken his nose and RTB walked with him up the race(never a good sign)......then the "chatter" went to he may have broken his jaw
It was an absolutely gut churning feeling hearing the above...........how much bad luck does this guy have to cop.....fingers crossed that whatever it was,it's not too serious.
And here's something I've never seen before........2 of our indigenous boys suffered cramp all at the same time.....bizarre !!!!!!
It was a pleasant 21C at the time.
Garcia ran past us and was really labouring......I glanced to the South Rd goal square and Hill and Nas were on their backs getting treatment......Garcia was soon on his back.
I thought I'd save the best to last.
You don't see this that often at training or during a match.
The ball came at a lightening speed out of the backline.....Big Maxy took off like an express train from the goal square on a lead.....he marked just inside the 50 directly in front.,....the ball went thru at nearly goal post height.
Hopefully no one saw me dribbling.
Memories of Roo came flooding back......if Big Maxy had the space to do this during a game, who on earth could stop him.
We still have probably the worst media team in the AFL in terms of amount of content. I see other clubs put out 5-10 minute training videos, 15 minute draft breakdown videos whereas we struggle to put up the occasional 1 minute video. Staggering how little we’ve progressed in that area.
Disagree with what? Is the club putting out 5-10 minute training videos, draft breakdowns etc.?Couldn’t disagree more.

Hello!
How’s Bonner tracking and what position is he playing? Were you all surprised to pick him up?
Agreed, they are into short ticktok length reels with no real substance. Very dissapoinitng. The screw at the saints footy podcast do a far greater job tbh.Disagree with what? Is the club putting out 5-10 minute training videos, draft breakdowns etc.?
Tracking very well. An obvious list need were elite kicks across half back, once he was delisted it was a no brainer to add him. Will be very close to best 23 round 1.
Jack Steven copped it his whole career. still early days for Hunter
I see you and BJ are feeding from the same trough. It's a quite day at the office today and as tumble weeds were blowing thru Rsea Park last Friday.......I thought I'd put in a few observations over and above "saintmike65's" and "Kick it lace out's" great training reports from last Wednesday.

There's pages & pages of vision & stories on the link below. As I & others have mentioned above, a lack of 10 min blocks of training footage is probably at the coaches' instructions. There's multiple stories about every draftee, vision & interviews with them all.Disagree with what? Is the club putting out 5-10 minute training videos, draft breakdowns etc.?
So he’s been brought back to the main group as a disciplinary action. Great, just great!!

No I think jwikked has a point. There's pages & pages of vision & stories on the link below. As I & others have mentioned above, a lack of 10 min blocks of training footage is probably at the coaches' instructions. There's multiple stories about every draftee, vision & interviews with them all.
I seriously don't know what you're whinging about.

Being from Launceston is his only crime. Some just love leaping to silly conclusionsAnyone know what the Launy boy has done that has in the bad books early?

Just shows how soft the club is when they don’t enforce disciplinary action that was never applied in the first place. No wonder we’re stuffed. So the club never mentions any disciplinary action being undertaken.
The media, as usual, hint at it.
Social media, as usual, claim to know all about it.
Player resumes with senior squad.
People start to bemoan club’s lack of integrity in regards to the disciplinary action which the club never said was warranted or being applied.
Okay, I think I’ve got it.
Looks like the right age group for the cats.No I think jwikked has a point.
Geelong is putting out heaps of stuff although I don’t know why they have their senior squad kitted out in Saints gear
The media reported what the club told them.So the club never mentions any disciplinary action being undertaken.
