lol so Cam Rayner thenI saw that on Cam Rayners Insta story.
For the record, I have no problem whatsoever with players using my pictures of themselves. Get pretty ratty when Frankie from Fawkner on Facebook gets light-fingered but.lol so Cam Rayner then
Actually a good question. Looks like they've slightly cropped and darkened your photo. I'm no lawyer (thank goodness) but I guess it brings into question who has the rights to these images... The photographer or the subject. Normally I'd say the photographer by default but perhaps the waters are muddied somewhat by the fact that the players are being photographed while in their place of work and it's not an open training session.Um, who's pinching and modifying my piccies?

Mr ripper was ready to throw hands until he learnt that toned and ripped cam rayner took the picture. Smart retreat.
Yes but you can't say this any more. So, Cam is listed as 186cm, 93kg on the Lion's web page. Looking at Rip's pic there, looks like he has shed about six kilos. So new estimated playing weight would be 87kg.
My understanding of taking images of people be they general public or professional athletes.Actually a good question. Looks like they've slightly cropped and darkened your photo. Personally I'm very much on Mr Ripper's side here... As the "player weight" issue has shown in the last day or so, clubs and the AFL will go to any length to avoid giving its key stakeholder (the paying public) any useful information outside of the usual fluff, so these photos are a great resource for what they help us read into things.
Bigfooty: I come for the overreactions, I stay for the analysis on copyright law.
As I said, happy for the subjects to use pictures of themselves however they like. Coulda kept the full watermark in though! Here’s the original screen shot I took off Cam’s story if you want to track him down?

Yeah I thought the constant jarring of that long run would have to of delayed repair of the shoulder at best. I know it was for cause, a good one, but I think he could have played as big a part in the event without running. Maybe a slip in the medical team to let him.Possibly his efforts involved with running that marathon before Christmas may have also contributed.
I think we can assume he and the clubs medical staff had discussions about what he would do during the run.Yeah I thought the constant jarring of that long run would have to of delayed repair of the shoulder at best. Big year for him, continued injury and he could be passed. I have no doubt he would be re-signed, but the difference would be as Lester like depth rather than a best 22 lock. If it helps keep Clugg here by any margin it's worth it.
I haven lost faith in him as a player yet. I still think he's best 22 at the moment. Not often his opponent towels him up on the wing. He gets back and supports in defense, can kick a goal from 50 and I think importantly for Fages and the team, he can be given a job on a player and stick to it. He should be hell bent on making up for his shitty gf.
Here I am wondering how I had missed all of the discussion about Berry's lousy girlfriend and wondering what she had done to the group as a whole (since he was 'making up for' not 'getting over') then nodded to myself as I realised that it meant Grand Final this time chagrinHe should be hell bent on making up for his shitty gf.
100% the person who took the photo owns the photo. The players are in a public place and there is no issue. Being a photographer who has had photos stolen it really comes down to how vigilant you are in protecting them. The real issue is when the person stealing them uses them for commercial intent like in advertising.Actually a good question. Looks like they've slightly cropped and darkened your photo. Many will recognise this photo, it's one of the most famous photos for copyright legal cases. The monkey stole the camera and took the photo itself and the owner of the camera argued it was their photo where Stock images argued the monkey was the owner.
Berry could be an interesting one. I think he's mostly been on the wing due to his running power over the years, but maybe with the exit of Gunston he could be an interesting option to trial as our new 3rd tall? Has the height, would bring a great defensive mindset to the forward group and could burn a third tall defender pushing hard towards goal on turnovers with his superior fitness.
