A percentage booster please team! Need to keep up with the Giants %
Always Eagles next week if not

I’ll take just any win though really and then regain top’o’ladder , ooooh yeah !

Happy Easter all!

Made a late decision to jump in the car yesterday and drive down the Hume Highway for this one. Absolutely critical that we take the four points here.

Despite their outs, we simply must not take them lightly.
the board should organzize a Bigfooty bus down to Melbourne one time, would be ...interesting...

Watching the warm up, Gulden is kicking them from about 30m out on or near the left pocket boundary - every one of them straight over the umps hat.

Our strength is their weakness. Expecting a pasting

- Tigers have conceded 63 points from intercept possessions this season, ranked 15th

- Swans are averaging 71.9 points per game from intercept possessions this season, ranked 1st

- Richmond have applied a pressure factor of 165 over the first 3 weeks this season, their lowest pressure rating over 3 weeks since 2016

- Swans have a pressure factor of 225 in defensive 50, ranked 1st

Others

Swans 39 tackles inside 50, 1st in 2024
26.7 intercepts inside forward half. 1st

Roberts has a kicking efficiency of 92.3%, ranked 2nd in top 50 kicks in AFL.

Some really interesting stats.

First for forward fifty tackles is great to see. Was a massive weakness for a long while. I think we under appreciated how much pressure escaped with buddy in forward fifty, as we still have three talls this year.

Roberts is going great guns. I never knew his kicking was a strength until this year.

A side that dominates on the intercept with elite left footers. Are we Hawthorne from their period of dominance - except instead of unsocialable footy we have insatiable run?

Was expecting this, had a crack last week but didn't feel he did enough to warrant a best 22 spot. Go well Siddy!

Not surprised. He has not iirc ever taken the game by the scruff of the neck in the 2s. Runs well and brave but lacks weapons and polish.

If we are serious contender (not convinced) then this should be either a comfortable 30 point win where we are never really challenged and never get out of 2nd gear or, a 60 point thrashing.

At the end of the day, 4 points, no injuries and a bit of percentage as a bonus is what we want
If we are serious contenders, we find a way to win. Every premiership team has scrappy, ugly, flukey wins sometimes through the year. What makes them premiership teams is that they find a way to win when it matters.

I’ll take a 3 point win with a bit of luck to get over the line, so long as the team keep learning by their mistakes and getting better.

That said, I suspect today will be a comfortable win. They’ll fight for 1-2 good patches but won’t be able to match us for the 4 quarters. I’m going to guess an 7 goal lead condensing to 5 goals in junk time.

Tigers can beat us, we need to be switched on today

nervous
No they can't, that's just game day nerves... we're good, they're barely mediocre...

I'll have a drink for you! That'll settle your nerves....:tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:
