Freo didn't even look like it tonight. Still not a 4 quarter game from us but nice to beat another side pushing for the 8 convincingly.

Heeney 3 for mine, was best when it was won

We came out of the gates hard, they were up for it. Pressure was elite for the first half... we burnt them on the turnover which led to about 7 goals.

Turnovers leading to transition was the story of the game imo.

After the 3rd quarter, it was a period of holding on while they had momentum here or there. 4th quarter was just sucking the air out of the balloon ready for the game next week.

Dominated, never looked like losing, not our greatest game ever, but another big tick

Props to the Freo players turning up. Would have been so hard to play, but they gave it their all. Great game by us too. We never gave up, which was good

Before the game most people were saying this was a danger game. We’ve come out with sensational pressure and beaten a team by close to 10 goals and now it’s not impressive. FMD.

and had them beaten from halfway through the second quarter, if not before ... surely that counts as a significant win
