I haven't looked too much into this year's draft, but I'm informed that Trainor is that kind of playerHe would be the HB distributor to keep Kerch and Sheeze further up the ground.
Smooth mover, smart, can defend. Great player.
I think Sydney would want a little more than just pick 1/2/3 for Chad and why would he go anywhere when they are the current favourites for the flag? Most likely we'll have one of the first 3 picks in this year's draft.
Would you trade it for Chad Warner?
Exciting? Are you kidding, it would be like "the towering inferno", it would catch on fire and burn to the ground!Yeah he's tracking the right direction, so I'd be miffed if we traded him now, and not many if any BF trades get done.
Would be an exciting world if BF was in charge of trades.
I’ve mentioned here before that Stengle spends a lot of time helping Eddie Betts with the junior footy side he coaches.
He also stays with the Betts family often and our local postie told me all his mail is sent there.
The Davey twins also help with the team and spend a great deal of their time with the Betts.
Eddie’s wife Anna calls the shots, managing both Eddie and Tyson.
His forward craft is something we could definitely do with but at that cost? Not too sure about that aspect of it.
I see this more in what LuvtheKangas stated....they care about revenue and lining their pockets. It is based on what your priority is, what is it you are trying to do. The AFL I think have equalisation as one of, if not their top metric. For them that is how they measure success, and how they determine what's then important and frames their decision making.
The AFL sees equalisation as benefiting the game and will make decisions supporting that even if at the detriment of other factors.
What fans, clubs, players, coaches, etc etc see as important will be different.
The question is why is equalisation seen by the AFL as so important? So much so it is prepared to lose credibility in other areas?
Money? Likely as an even comp keeps more fans involved for longer, more eyeballs on the media. The last thing the AFL want is the 8 settled by round 8. The less meaningless games the better. Every team has every chance, every year to make the 8 would be their goal.
Or I could have just said equalisation delivers engagement.
North Melbourne is pleased to announce Anna Betts as honorary chairwoman for The Huddle. Anna brings with her a wealth of experience working with indigenous and multicultural people, she also brings with her Tyson Stengle.I’ve mentioned here before that Stengle spends a lot of time helping Eddie Betts with the junior footy side he coaches.

Learning from the best, the AFL are geniuses with this sort of stuff.Brilliant idea.
There's nothing like a good conflict of interest.
Im fully expecting next season we see far more games from Powell closer to his top end. He's already above a C+ midfielder, let alone what he might be in 3-4 years.
CD and AFL ratings have him only behind Gulden and Holmes in his draft class on this years performances. He's rated ahead of JHF FWIW.
His rating level sits him around the likes of Hayden Young, Will Day, Nic Martin, Sam Flanders and Jai Newcombe.
All who would demand top dollar.
We underestimate some of his games this year, he's had some massive games on paper.
His game against Freo rates as the best game of any North player this year.

Only issue I see is that he has had concussion issuesWill Hamill is a player I’d be very interested in bringing over , left footed small/medium defender who is a good size . Has really good speed and is rated elite in kicking efficiency and winning 1v1 contests and at 23 yrs old he fits our age profile .
A side benefit is that he’s already been delisted so would cost sfa .
Worth the punt I reckon mate , he’s got some really good attributesOnly issue I see is that he has had concussion issues
I would assume everyone in the afl media landscape is getting paid to take part in different ventures.Anna don't do nothing without the $$$$$, the Betts are spoke persons for the pvt school their kids attend, and of course they don't pay a cent.
So should it be a paying gig I'm sure you'd have her ear.

He is from down on the Mornington Peninsula so if there’s an interested Melbourne based club willing to put a contract in front of him I’d suggest he’d jump at the chance to come home .Re-listed as a rookie, though, and getting games this year. So, the Crows will probably promote him back to the senior list at the end of the year.
If they don't, I would suggest that's a red flag.

Haha pay up blwwww baggers ….what a shame all those junk picks will mean no more freebiesAwesome.
A step in the right direction.
Only first and second round picks can be used to match.
First round picks become more valuable.
Lock it in.
Carlton can still get there twins they just go into deficit. But they actually pay a price
Yeah I like him and reminds me a bit of Powell from gc - Slight but has no fear of putting his body on the line.Worth the punt I reckon mate , he’s got some really good attributes
