Surely Bo plays at some point. Have you got him in your mids?

Option 3 I think you're leaving way too much cash on the table. I traded Knevitt in this week but that last quarter where they moved him out of the midfield and they made a run at the Saints could be a flag for his role. Scored 5 points for the quarter.
Yeah, Bo in the mids. Not really considering option 3, though I have missed a few of the better rookies, hence tossing it out there bringing in 3 rookies. Lindsay the obvious inclusion. Aware Knevitt very quiet in the last quarter last week, I'm not completely sold, but can say the same for the other rookies. I don't know. Definitely want a premium in this week, and the backline seems the best place. Could just keep Hollands and hope I suppose.

Also Tsatas out now, so another spanner in the works. To keep or not? Maybe another mid might be useful. Still no closer to a decision.

Anyone know how long Tsatas will be out for?

Need to get Lindsay so think I'll cull FOS.

Hollands on the chopping block. After 1st trade I can get him up to Powell, Callaghan & Soligo. Any thoughts here? Is Powell legit? Wardlaw will come back and I've been burnt by this campaigner 2 years straight. Callaghan has the role locked in but maybe more impact than DT scoring. Soligo a lot of mouths to feed and played 2 terrible teams. Thinking Powell just not sure if I want to wait a week and upgrade to a better player.

Lastly, do I want Hall? Massive cash gen and soft kill against us this week. My F6-8 currently Davidson, Stone & Kako. Or could wait a week and see if Clohesy is legit and get a cash rise out of the other 3.

Tsatas is expected to miss round 3, have their bye and then return in round 5.
In relation to Allan, as mentioned earlier, even when he played in the practice matches he didn't score at all. I do feel that Powell is legit and it's a toss up as to go to any of the three mentioned. Don't think you can lose on any of them when being compared to Hollands. I do feel Soligo is one of Adelaide's first choice mids along with Crouch and Dawson. Same can be said of Callahan.

I'm not even considering the idea of keeping Hollands. Tsatas is just sitting on my bench atm hence him missing a game or two is not a major concern. I already have Knevitt, Noddy, Lindsay and LAshcroft hence I'm looking at upgrades this week.

Just about to lock in some trades before heading off to watch The Dolphins up here n Redcliffe...

Out - Perryman, Langford, Flynn
In - NWM, SDK, Knevett

Gets me 1 more season holding premo in NWM and some good cash gen + job security.

Or better if sacrificing NWM, swinging SDK back and getting in Lashcroft for ultimate cash gen while it's best 18 over the next few weeks?

Hazey, as the thread originator it's probably time to change the name of the thread. Just delete the "Team Picker Open" part.

Perryman -> Farrell
Garcia -> Knevitt
O'Sullivan -> Lindsay

gonna use my first boost, and i'm already down to 35 trades left
i expect Tsatas to come back after the bye... therefore, he's a hold
Knevitt & Lindsay = $$$ and are almost must-haves IMO... get on board
an improved Farrell looks like the go-to-guy at halfback now that Houston has left... hopefully he averages 90+

I went Farrell in AF. Can't quite afford him in DT.

Decided not to waste a trade on Hall. Granted he could make $100K in the first week but I think he will become a slow burn after that. Clohesy will hopefully be the better trade in option next week together with Bice.
I am so tempted to trade Brayshaw for Dawson but I think I just have to accept I'm keeping Brayshaw for the entire season so will need to wait a few weeks before bringing in Dawson.

I can't settle on just 3 trades. 5 would be ideal this week. lol. I also want rid of JHF but don't have a mid/fwd to roll in to the forward line, so have no idea on who to bring in for JHF. Need to be a forward, but there's none that I like. Unless Bailey Smith definitely plays, but still sounds like his fitness is questionable.

I either go:

Hollands & Perryman to Lindsay & Sinclair. Then option of O'Sullivan or Garcia to Knevitt.

or

Hollands, Perryman & Sanders to Lindsay, Powell & Farrell.

Second option probably scores more in the short term, but first option makes more money and gets in a genuine top liner. Do like Powell though, as a North supporter not sure why I didn't just start him??

CScott is notorious for and has weaponised late changes.

I wouldn't touch Smith until about thirty seconds before he's about to run onto the field for his third game of the season.

came up with an alternative to Farrell:

Garcia -> Lindsay
O'Sullivan -> Moraes (sub risk... but that's all i can really afford)
Perryman -> Zorko

this means i miss out on Knevitt... however, i gain Zorko !!
right now, i'm leaning this way

Still torn on whether to go Hollands up to Powell, Soligo or Callaghan or wait a week and do Prior to Bice & upgrade to proper premo.

Also torn on whether to get Max Hall? I've got Kako, Davidson & Stone. Feel like Hall could fit in nicely for Kako and make some great cash this week.

Hollands > Powell this week

Or wait and go Prior > Bice & Hollands > Green/Daicos next week.

Feel like Powell could be a season defining pick, get on him at $797k and goes 105 and you're flying or Wardlaw comes back and he goes 70-80 lol

Is Henderson at the Dees an option over Moraes given he's on the bubble?

I'm torn on weather I really need Knevitt or not. I'm also wary of trading O'Sullivan when I really shouldn't question it. Bit of North bias perhaps. I like your trade, going right to the top.

For me, it's Hollands & Perryman out to Lindsay and a premium defender like Sinclair or Wanganeen-Milera, then O'Sullivan to Knevitt.

Or Hollands & Perryman & Garcia out to Lindsay & Knevitt & any premium I like - Zorko or Whitfield or Sinclair. Or move Allan back and go Dunkley. That would be nice.

Aren't you worried about Zorko's scoring going off a cliff as soon as Coleman is back?? It's the one reason I didn't start Zorko. His role will change as soon as Kiddy is back.
