I think there is a very real chance he will nominate the Suns but he won't make a decision until closer to draft time. 

I think a lot will hinge on his projected draft range, and the Suns situation (i.e. whether they have enough draft points, list spots, and their situation with other NGA prospects).

If he can fall through to the Suns then staying in Queensland is a no brainer.  Better weather. Staying close to family and friends.  Less media scrutiny.
