NFL 2025 Pre-Draft Discussion

This is most ridiculous thing i've have seen Colin say since the Yankees should trade their next entire 3 drafts for Ohtani. Except in MLB you can't trade draft picks. The guy is an utter moron. Clueless his basically a white stephen a smith.
As ridiculous as Stephen is sometimes, Cowherd is on another level of ridiculousness.

Also part of the value with Shedeur is his ability to start right away. If the Steelers are having a rookie sit for at least a year, it makes way more sense to keep Wilson or Fields and have Milroe, Dart or Ewers sit under them.

I don’t think he can start straight away mainly due to these 4 reasons.

1. Struggles to handle the pass rush in big12 and guys are so much better, quicker and faster in pro's. I think he is a really good chance to break david carr's record of being sacked 76 times in season. Led nation in most sacks by quarterback in 23. Tends to hold onto the ball way too long, has bad feel for rush and doesn't have legs to get away.

2. Hasn't beaten a good team in college, every team in the pros is better than competition he has faced. Think it will be a struggle. Tends to have his worst games against the good teams. Imagine him if he gets drafted by giants he plays eagles, commanders and cowboys twice a year. He will get slaughtered.

3. Goes thru his reads quickly but his average arm talent means can't make all the throws or will be late on them which will limit him especially on stuff to the sideline. Balls he got away with in college are going to get picked off in the pros.

4. Will he adapt to pro coaching, and that fact he will be accountable for his mistakes now that not his dad not his coach.

Those are reasons he'll fail altogether. I think he'll be a very sink or swim prospect, either we're all wrong and he'll adapt straight away or he'll never make it. And that's not someone I'd draft in the top 10, but some team will.
