Stephens had a rough start, but getting better as the game settles into a rhythm.

That quarter, Fisher, Simpkin, Larkey, Maley, Phillips and Harvey the standoits for me.

Goad looks a different player. Competing on the ground and in the air, very bouncy, athletic and competative. Had a couple of great clearances and made two great Spoils on Xerri who had the advantage. He came from nowhere and spolit with great athleticism.
 
Based of that half best 4 mids would be

Powell, WAP, Parker, Wardlaw

Yep. Sheez and LDU have been quiet. But maybe that's deliberately so.

Fisher, Goad and Coops are in the 'pleasant surprise' category so far.

EDIT: Can probably add Will Phillips to that category too.
