I genuinely don't get this.

Are people not allowed to express an opinion about an AFL Exec on an AFL forum?

Is this State so pathetic now, that perfectly reasonably discussion is now objected to, with subjective feelings now overriding objective facts, due to inherent meannesses?

I get that people are more interested in their feels these days, but facts are still important. Nobody has done anything, to my mind, except express facts. That you don't like factually correct information is not, I'm sorry you're just finding this out, anyone else's problem but yours, dear.

There are a number of other threads where those discussions would be relevant to the thread topic.

Not every thread within the forum needs to be derailed by the same ramblings.

Oh god, I knew there'd be people like you who would be offended FML. But largely in terms of my support for the NMFC, yes, sorry if that offends you - but other than the NMFC girls on occasion, the female PGA on occasion, female skiers on occasion and Matildas at biggish tournaments- I just don't watch or care for that matter about a lot of girls sports. I would never watch the NMFC Girls Live if that helps you paint me as a misogynist. I'll wear it, not with glee as I don't hate it, but I'd probably rather watch the horses if they were on.

I was merely replying to a Poster and knew that he would agree.

I derived more enjoyment out of the Girls Premiership than my post suggests, certainly more than the poster I responded to likely did. And more than I expected. But, and I say this with absolute respect to the girls, I support the Men's Team. That is why I care. I want the girls to win, sure, they represent us really well. But am I going to work angry on a Monday if they lose? I don't think so.

Here's the thing. You can't offend me just because you are not as supportive of the women's team. I just wanted clarification on whether you were being sarcastic. I don't expect everyone to appreciate and support the women's team as much as they do the men's. But the fact that you do support the women's team to some extent (even though you insist on using the pejorative "girls), I thought it might be worth educating you on the fact that the NMFC women's program and significant numbers of the team were built and brought together by the "imbecile" you were previously criticising. So she does have some qualities, clearly.




PS. As a word of advice, your attempts to curry favour with Duck Yeah kind of demeans the both of you. Don't do that.

This all stated with a discussion on how many wins we could expect and I made the point that the Pies game had some umpiring mistakes that were explained poorly in the week afterwards.

Subsequently that person effectively disappeared off the media radar.

The explanation was just as poorly handled as any other equivalent going all the way back to the 1980’s.

The gag there is that Bailey has always been a good runner and no one denies it.

He's just a bit soft and doesn't have elite ball usage.

No you don't. I'm pretty sure we have all heard enough from you and your absurd posts about the AFLW competition.

You don't have to like it, which is to your detriment, but equally you don't have to constantly complain about it. Please just refrain from posting on the AFLW competition/our wonderful team.

I for one, loved every moment of our team winning every game bar one, creating history in the process, being the first team in VFL/AFL/AFLW history to achieve that feat.

At long last, a new Premiership Cup at Arden street, something I was beginning to think might never happen again in my lifetime.

The only downside for me was that I had to watch it from a hospital bed, but otherwise wonderful memories.

Hopefully we go back to back this year and maybe I'll still be around to see it in person

Agree, however if others pose questions, you can't stop people from answering or commenting.

I can't see a 'women's footy is bad post' - I can see a few "I started supporting the NMFC" because of, wait for it, "the Men's Football Team" though.

Don't do that? I don't know what you're getting at, I don't listen to anyone. Nor do I curry favour, or want anyone to like me, I flat-out don't care. He's IMO, not what you and other members of this board think, I actually like him and value his opinion.
