He’s far best as a stoppage player who is most often extracting rather than running through.

If we want to play a bit more from the back half with some run, we surely can’t have Langford in there with Clarry, Trac and Viney.

Yeah sure if you wanna talk as a pure skillset I agree, I just don't think claytons slow. He plays slow when he gets it and slams it on the boot but when he actually gets into a trot with his power he can move fine.

I know you’ve been giving him a hard time around here (not entirely unfairly), but I’ve seen him around and about the place a number of times over the past few months and he looks in ripping shape.

I'm given him a hard time because he let his teammates the club and the coach down for 2 years and everyone can earn redemption, but I'm surprised ( maybe I'm not ) at how many people have forgiven him without actually doing anything? Tbh even a good season this season shouldn't get him total redemption, our premiership window isn't an unlimited time and him and Joel Smith with probably a few more unnamed guys have pissed 2 prime years away

I was not the biggest Langford fan pre-draft, and still have not been excited by him. But saying he won't make it is way too premature. All draftees should get two seasons to prove themselves.

One exception is Laser Laurie. He gets all the time he needs. Laurie fans will be vindicated in 2025 (or maybe 2026!)

I think it is fine to have an opinion, but it starts to get a bit silly when you're doing the same thing you did to Windsor last year danster168 and being extremely critical, but you then pump up absolute hacks like Tom Sparrow.

Not much faith from some people about Langford here, l believe he’s going to be fantastic player.

There is literally one person in this whole forum that wants him delisted already. The same dude that was hailing Tom Sparrow a superstar on here after his 3 goal performance against the Northern Bullants in last year's practice game.

The normal ordinary individual folks like the rest of us know he's got the talent for sure but aren't expecting miracles from a first year 18 year kid.

Not everyone needs to come in full guns blazing.
