Free agency occurs before trading, so I'm not sure why players wouldn't come to us.  In future maybe, but I think that's a subjective argument and could possibly be offset by a players returning home narrative.

I think a haul akin to TDK, LDU, McGuane and 2 or 3 high draft picks for the loss of Hill and potentially Cameron would be preferable to McGuane, Richards and JUH.  I don't see the attraction in Richards and JUH's potential risk isn't worth the draft picks we'd need to give up.

I also wouldn't consider that a net negative.

I'd still pursue TDK and LDU, however to me it feels like Bobby's value is near its peak as is Cameron's, as there seems to be a willing buyer in West Coast who have assets.
