Got no complaints, he was for free. And as others have said for whatever reason the match committee preferred him over Brown. So yeah I think he was worth it. In all likelihood Brown won't be there next year so he really needs to be a solid contributor for 2/3/4 more years.... therein lies the rub...

The jury is out on Rivers. Has been good in patches.
Takes more than a year to retune a player that has been headf***ed at a lousy development club like Melbourne.
I think he will repay the faith next year. We still need him

I maintain he doesn't look fit enough , he has an "ass" the size of a 100M sprinter. He has a year left ,and right now he may just be question himself if he is really up to it.

If we are not a Flag winning side next year then he will be a Bankers man

Gave good service for three years. Kind of funny that he played more finals for Geelong than he did for the Dees.
