Can someone Photoshop Will walking away from an explosion please?
Yeah, only cost us 2 no1 picks. We made off like bandits. Will say again, how lucky were we to have two pick 3's in the draft last night.
Did the AFL and other clubs notice ?
Jokes on them.
This argument is just stupid. One of those number one picks didn't want to be at the club, so pragmatically, a top 3 pick as compensation for him is great. And as for the other number one pick, we weren't interested in Cadman, so we got the bloke we would've picked anyway. It was either we keep JHF and bring in Sheezel, or we get rid of JHF, bring in Sheezel, and bring in another guy that we rate in the top 3 available players, who won't run off crying to Mummy after one year. That's a good deal if you ask me. What exactly would you have done differently?Yeah, only cost us 2 no1 picks. We made off like bandits.

We still have another first rounder next year from this.
Unless we totally stuff that up it's hard to see us not very much winning this trade.
90 percent of this board would pick Wardlaw over JHF on exposed form.
JHF will be good but I found underwhelming for the hype last year.
I’ll be shocked if Wardlaw has a better first year than JHF who was the third highest ranked 18 year old in the comp.
Ok maybe.
Not really the point.
JHF had also played significant chunks of senior footy and got significant opportunity in the worst side in the comp.

Phark me, we got two players we would have taken at pick 1 this year regardless and we also got another first round pick next year in a loaded draft. I think that’s a huge win.Yeah, only cost us 2 no1 picks. We made off like bandits.
People just born negative. Will whine about anything. Loving whats ahead of us.This argument is just stupid. For sure. He had a much better prep than Wardlaw has. I think we’ll be really conservative with Wardlaw for the first half of the season.
It depends how you rate a year I guess. In terms of 18 year old rankings, JHF was Elite in all of the "Refusing to take an Ice Bath", "Flying interstate without telling the club", "Crying on the Bus after a bake from the coach" and "Turning his back and walking off on a 280 game All Australian trying to give him advice" KPIs. Wardlaw will have to try very hard to top any of those.I’ll be shocked if Wardlaw has a better first year than JHF who was the third highest ranked 18 year old in the comp.

****ing oath am I glad I don't have to try and rationalise away that entitled crybaby attitude any more. About the only rationalisation that still rings true was when he was upset after knocking a bloke into next year, but even then he was probably more concerned he'd get suspended than the fact he hurt someone. No matter what I can’t imagine the warlord ever hitting the whinging heights of JHF. Who was truly elite

It may not be a win, we simply don’t know yet, but it’s a massive effort considering the hand we were dealt.Phark me, we got two players we would have taken at pick 1 this year regardless and we also got another first round pick next year in a loaded draft. I think that’s a huge win.
No disrespect to you, but the only way that's possible is if there were only two other 18 year olds playing last year.I’ll be shocked if Wardlaw has a better first year than JHF who was the third highest ranked 18 year old in the comp.
