I like how we give him six games in a row and then pause that continuity because McDonald and Corr have feelings.

This club shoots itself in the foot more often than not. Dickheads

And regardless of anyone’s opinion of Laz, they’ll give him 1 match, play him out of position and he’ll be tipped out of the side again next week. Crazy stuff!!

I'm happy to lay the boot into the club from time to time when necessary, but this one isn't on them. Phillips can't play their roles. Phillips also only has himself to blame for disrupting this 'continuity' by not making himself undroppable. Perform to a high standard every week and you won't be dropped.

This phrase is said a lot across multiple sports, and I have never, ever seen this attitude work when a club has double standards in what it takes to get dropped.

Why was Philips dropped and not Wardlaw, Simpkin, LDU (the players in his position). It isn't age (see Wardlaw), it's performance. And that's fair enough.

We don't have anyone to replace Corr and McDonald, so they stay. It sucks, but it is what it is.

It’s more greenwood shouldn’t be playing over Phillips. They play the same position.

And greenwood did nothing to demand a spot over Phillips. Especially when you consider where the club is at

So McDonald, Corr and Ziebell should stay in the side based on their games last week?
George had a poor game against the Dogs and wasnt dropped. So theres already different standards present.
Not to mention with LDU coming back in last week the kids are still trying to find ways to gel and learn eachothers games. This shit takes time.

Might have to have a rethink on Corr and McDonald being undroppable. We have Perez, Young, Dawson and Archer who could take a spot in the backline and all have shown enough form to displace members of the back 6.

The club has got this all wrong. Its not an opinion either.

That’s a ridiculous sentence. We do have players to take their position and most of us would be confident enough to say that they could do it better.

The only difference is, those players that would come in, aren’t on ridiculously overpriced/multi year contracts.

The club is trying to justify poor decision making, only to realise that with every week that goes by, they dig that hole deeper and deeper!

Maybe they don't want to play him cos he got belted in the head at training a few days ago, if it was a match he'd have had to get assessed for concussion. The omitted/injured justifications for not playing don't always line up with whats happened.

Needs a monster pre-season. Lock him to Bailey Scott so he can take his running capacity to another level.

Until he can cover the ground, he is going to be inconsistent.

I suspect if we dropped every player that Big Footy demanded be dropped and we promoted every player that Big Footy demanded be promoted, the average age of our side wouldn't be allowed to buy alcohol.

He has better stats this season than Cunners had at his age (2012). He'll probably be just as good.
Yep and Cunners was in/out of the side quite a bit early on as I recall until he came on with a rush.

I really think Will will follow a similar trajectory.
