When the news filters through of the perks the Pies and big interstate clubs offer their recruits, Phillips will quickly realize what it’s like to be a North Melbourne footballer and then the arrogance will turn into a chip on his shoulder.
And tbh we don’t want that to happen. Accepting inferiority and using it as motivation may have worked in past generations but does not in the modern age.

I am clearly referring to the political recruitment of players for the furthering of certain administrators political aspirations. Y'know, filling young impressionable blokes heads up with crap and then pressuring them to be spokesmen.
